If it helps, the videos can be shared with several options. I share it to myself by email then I capture it with software I have for capturing videos on my desktop. Then I save my videos to an external hard drive for backup.

Answer:	The sync module 2 will still function like a traditional sync module, compatible with all generations of Blink cameras, however, only Blink Indoor and Outdoor and Blink Mini cameras will be compatible with local storage functionality. All other generations of cameras (indoor, XT and XT2) will be cloud based if/when they are added to the SM2. All existing customers who have an account created on or before 4/15/2020 will receive free cloud storage on all devices added to their account going forward, including Mini, and Blink Indoor and Outdoor.

Answer:	The recording starts immediately upon motion sensing. The *Early Notification* Beta setting alerts you within 5 seconds of motion detection, and you can access the Live View from your phone and choose whether you'd like to keep the live view clip. The live view clip then saves for as long as you'd like to continuously watch (which you'll be prompted to do), otherwise, you'll recorded clip will only be as long as you sell it to be(upto 60 seconds) with a cool down of 10seconds between clips with motion. Also, you can toggle whether you want it to stop recording 2seconds after motion end, or allow it to always record for the triggered clip length. I purchased mine mid- December 2020, and it works amazingly.
Question:	How are these different than my Blink XT2 cameras
Answer:	I just spoke with a Blink representative on the phone, he informed me that if you have a blink account activated before 4/15/20 using the older cameras (i.e. XT2), if you purchase the new cameras, they can be added to your existing system and they will be able to utilize the free cloud storage since the account is grandfathered in. The cloud storage paid plan is only for accounts made after 4/15/20.

Answer:	This product worked great for what I needed it for! 4 adjustable volume from 25dB to 85dB and is loud enough for us to hear throughout our home (two-level). The bell itself is very lightweight, but, seems to be well made. Very happy so far.

Answer:	I recently purchased this set. You don't need to pair. just plug in the bell to any outlet. Attach the doorbell button where you want it located outside on the door. That's all I did.38 different chime options, you can choose the ringtone that you enjoy. Pushed on the button and it rang inside. It's really very simple to install. This little unit also puts out a loud enough sound to be heard easily inside.

Question:	will this work if the button is outside a metal gate and concrete wall and the chime is about 50 feet on the other side
Answer:	Absolutely.
Question:	Is the door bell connected with screws
Answer:	I assume you are asking about the transmitter (button) which goes outside. The answer is no. You receive a strip of double sided adhesive which sticks the button to your door frame or siding. I thought it came with mounting screws, but it doesn't even have mounting holes so you could supply your own screws. If you do not wish to use the adhesive tape, I would suggest drilling small holes in the mounting plate so you could mount it with screws. I didn't do that because I had to mount it to vinyl siding. Still, I'm afraid that when the summer sun bakes it, the adhesive will release.

Answer:	the door bell is very small maybe about 2" x 3" and the two plug in receivers are also small; maybe 3"x5".

Question:	If my Neighbour installs the same system, is there a danger that his door bell push will ring our receivers
Answer:	I installed this system in my neighbor's home and want to install it my own. I cannot find, however, instructions on the process to change the transmitter frequency. The system worked right out of the box, but the instruction leaflet did talk about pairing. The implication, however, was that the pairing was just to have the receiver sound the chosen chime when the transmitter button was pushed.
