Answer:	If you can afford a carving jack why would you even consider buying this ??? don't get me wrong it's a good little knife for the money but it's bulky and not ergonomic at all your hand will hurt after a wile and the blades don't lock like the carving jack . You'll have to sharpen it to your liking ,but I rather loose a $ 25 knife in the woods than a $140 any day of the week. over all it's not a bad little knife once is sharpened

Answer:	This is sad. I am 63 years old and remember when "Schrade" and "Uncle Henry" were brand names of knives you were PROUD to own and showed off to all your friends. Fortunately I do still have one old 'Uncle Henry" old enough to be of good quality. I recall sharpening a knife (Uncle Henry) for our Sgt and when he cut himself with it the doctor (took 12 stitches inside & out to sew him up) said it looked like he had been cut with a scalpel. I bet you couldn't get one of these new knives that sharp.

Secure Locking System

With two steel plates, or liners, on the inside of each handle scale, the liner locking system safely secures the blade open and prevents unwanted blade closure. The lockbar butts up against the blade’s backend to prevent closure, and angles or is bent towards the blade tang creating a bias locked position. Apply manual force to move the lockbar to the side and fold the blade back into the handle.

One-Handed Flipper

Knives with SpeedSafe open have two options for one-handed blade deployment. To activate the smooth, instant open, user can push a thumbstud or press a flipper. The flipper on SpeedSafe assisted knives is easy to operate by both left- and right-handed users. Answer:	From the looks of this knife I would think it has a liner lock piece of metal that springs over when blade opens. Look into where the blade goes probably piece of metal touching behind open blade slide piece of metal it left so blade may pass by and close this is done by placing thumb on piece behind blade and pushing to left carefully closing blade when thumb is out of way.
Question:	I had a knife with a belt clip and while wearing it and setting down it would pop open, will that happen with this knife
Answer:	The Flint works just fine. you have to scrape the powdercoat off of the flint before use. The rougher you make the flint's surface the bigger the sparks.
