First was the simple everyday tones, then noises (like a dog barking) and then melodies I'm not sure of the order they are in. I did listen to all of them because it was fun and I wanted to hear them all so I could select the two I liked best. I did select 2 different melodies so I could tell by the melody if someone was at the front door or the back door.

Answer:	I'm not sure I understand your question. There are two (well three actually) parts to this doorbell (2 bells that go outside your home, one on the front door and one on the back door if you want to use both. You don't have to use both if you don't want to....and then there's the remote that gets plugged into an outlet inside your home. The remote has about 50 different sounds (rings, noises and tunes) which you can program on the remote (more choices than I will ever need). If you do use both doorbells they can each be programmed for a different sound or tune so that if one is on your front door and one on your back door, you'll know by the sound which door your caller is at. I only use one doorbell. It was pretty easy to set up once I removed the plastic tab that covered the battery (they don't mention that in the instructions). I spent allot of time trying to program it but it won't work until that plastic tab is removed that covers the battery. All in all I am pleased with this purchase and it works nicely....loud and clear.

Common Problems and Troubleshooting

The receiver suddenly can't get signal from transmitter and doesn't ring.

Reason 1: Reset the receiver by accident so that transmitter is not paired with receiver any more.

Solution 1: Re-pair receiver with transmitter by these steps:

①Plug in receiver and press the chime tune button ( top) of the receiver to select a tune that you like.

②Then press the volume button of the receiver for 5 seconds and hold it, it enters the pairing mode.

③Then press the transmitter until it rings the selected tune.

Reason 2: Low-power battery in transmitter. The less power in transmitter, the shorter range is.

Solution 2: Replace with a new battery.

Please Note:

1. Do not unplug the receiver during pairing transmitter.

2. When you hold the volume button(the lower one) of the receiver, not just 5 seconds, you can try more than 5 seconds and press the button repeatedly, until the receiver match with the button to ring.

Answer:	I recently purchased this set. You don't need to pair. just plug in the bell to any outlet. Attach the doorbell button where you want it located outside on the door. That's all I did.38 different chime options, you can choose the ringtone that you enjoy. Pushed on the button and it rang inside. It's really very simple to install. This little unit also puts out a loud enough sound to be heard easily inside.

Answer:	I installed this system in my neighbor's home and want to install it my own. I cannot find, however, instructions on the process to change the transmitter frequency. The system worked right out of the box, but the instruction leaflet did talk about pairing. The implication, however, was that the pairing was just to have the receiver sound the chosen chime when the transmitter button was pushed.
