Having said that, I wouldn't recommend mounting in any place that is hit frequently with the full intensity of your shower. No setting on the floor pointing directly up towards the shower head so as to illuminate that pretty rainfall you've got going! But a ceiling, or even protected wall mount should work just fine.

Common Problems and Troubleshooting

The receiver suddenly can't get signal from transmitter and doesn't ring.

Reason 1: Reset the receiver by accident so that transmitter is not paired with receiver any more.

Solution 1: Re-pair receiver with transmitter by these steps:

①Plug in receiver and press the chime tune button ( top) of the receiver to select a tune that you like.

②Then press the volume button of the receiver for 5 seconds and hold it, it enters the pairing mode.

③Then press the transmitter until it rings the selected tune.

Reason 2: Low-power battery in transmitter. The less power in transmitter, the shorter range is.

Solution 2: Replace with a new battery.

1. Do not unplug the receiver during pairing transmitter.

2. When you hold the volume button(the lower one) of the receiver, not just 5 seconds, you can try more than 5 seconds and press the button repeatedly, until the receiver match with the button to ring.

You can pair any number of chimes since that process is just telling the chime to listen for the coded radio signal from the push button(s). The converse is not unlimited... you can have any one chime paired with a limited number of push buttons (or other accessories that honeywell markets, for example, for the series 9 chime "You can connect up to 6 accessories to your doorbell, including other push buttons, window or door opening sensors, and motion sensors."

Answer:	It's recommended to connect 1x device to each of the 12V DC outputs on back of the receiver (there are four of them). Each zone is triggered when a paired transmitter to that zone is triggered (and thus the connected device is powered). For these strobes, the amperage is low enough you could wire a couple of strobes together off of one zone's 12V DC output, so that when a push button (for example) that is paired to that zone is pushed, the two strobes would flash.
