Answer:	It should work as long as the shifter is threaded.

Answer:	12mm x 1.25. It comes with a nut (to stop the collar in the correct place so the shift pattern is facing the right way), a collar with the Subaru thread pattern, and the shift knob threaded for the outside of the collar. Took about 5 minutes to install.

Question:	Will this work for flower or veg only
Answer:	well..as far as them running what I would call cool that I have never seen in any ballast...the magnetic will fry your hand the digitals shouldn't do that but if its over 65 degrees in the same room as the ballast it will run pretty darn warm...I run all my ballast in a separate room and keep it as cool as I can and a osculating fan defiantly helps blow some air over them..here is 1 huge thing to watch for..these ballast have detachable power cords that in my opinion is a bad idea all away around about all ballast have them.....make sure they stay plugged into ballast all the way..i had 1 come half unplugged and good thing I was right there because it melted the wiring housing and almost caught on fire.....so check them from time to time push in on them ..also check where they plug into wall outlet if that's hot that's not good....you can get these things that wrap around your chord end that change color when it gets to hot they are cheap......now as far as breaker kickin off that kinda tells me your breaker is getting over loaded....you see it maybe verily able to handle the 750w but the 1000 is to much.....its nice to run an outlet just for the ballast..always use number 12 with ground wire or even 10...number 14 makes me paranoid its to light I mean we are running some power here buddy for long periods of times....and usually rule of thumb...no. 14 wire = 15 amp breaker...no. 12=20 amp breaker and no. 10 wire = 30 amp breaker...if you put to big of breaker on to lite of wire it could easly cause a fire..see them breaker trip when the wire heats up......so...first thing I would check ..are you running more then the ballast off the breaker line and if so how many watts...a small fan or something is fine but you know how it is when your makin toast and the ole lady turns on the blow dryer..PoP goes the breaker...if you are not running a bunch of other thing then the breaker could be old and weak and I personally would switch it out for new for 6 bucks you know what I'm sayin....I believe that a 1000w ballast draws about 9.6 amps so that by itself on a 15 amp breaker would probably be ok but again 12 wire with 20 amp way to go or even 10 wire....I run 2 1000w phantoms on heavy duty outlet no. 12 wire 20amp breaker I run through 40amp hot water tank timers because the little timers you buy for 10 bucks are not safe......you see what I gather is when the timer turns the ballast on its like BAMMM power and the timer has a small piece of metal called a contact ,,these are not made for BAMMM power...the contact will not take it and over time it could fail and cause fire.....I have seen 5 fires in rooms over the years...most due to junk equipment and rigging stuff to get by....its not worth it if a person can buy a 45.00 heavy duty hard wire timer and wire it right to heavy duty outlet ...man for 50.00 to 75.00 it eases the mind and could save you a huge problem or even save someone's life...I know this is way more info then you asked for but I care about people and I have learned from mistakes...hope this helps ya...take care..

Answer:	You use alot less power.I have a 1000, 600, 400 and my bill went up only 50$ a month versis old school ballast it would b 150$ more a month

Answer:	Whenever the unit recycles as a result of a loss of current or insufficient voltage the dimmable light bulb flashes. It usually resets and resumes a steady light after about 5 minutes. If this happens repeatedly, it probably means your electric source is insufficient. Find a different outlet with a higher voltage rating (20 amps min). Repeated striking (igniting) of your bulb can damage your bulb and this unit. Find and correct the problem so the unit gets the proper current.
Question:	Does it come with power cord to plug into the wall and the cord that goes to the light socket
Answer:	Mine do. If yours do not wait the 15 minutes, I would consider it defective and call the manufacturer for an exchange. Phantom customer service is pretty good. If the power really quickly flicks off and back on, it could be that the ballast didn't detect it as a power outage and therefore didn't turn off, not sure in that situation.
Question:	Does ballast come in unmarked package
Answer:	just switch the bulb it will adjust all on its own...however some metal halide bulbs don't like to fire in my phantoms...I have a 600w and 3 1000w phantoms all of them have problems with the hortilux blue....some metal halides like the hortilux blue actual are supposed to be used on a magnetic ballast switched to the hps setting...im guessing maybe they are more like a type of conversion bulb....however hortilux makes a mh that comes in a yellow box I think called e-start...its an excellent bulb and I never had any problems with it...not to get off track on how to switch bulb but I wanted to be as helpful as possible

Question:	Do not seem to be able to find a replacement 600w mh bulb! they just do not seem to exist! help! any advise
Answer:	You haven't given quite enough information so hard to say for sure. With 1000W and 600W ballasts from Quantum, I see a sort of two-stage firing. At first there is a dim, orange light and then fairly quickly the light reaches full strength. A good way to test the ballast would be to hook up another (known working) ballast to the same fixture and light bulb. If that fires your ballast was bad. If it too fails, possibly there is a problem in the bulbs or fixture or the wires leading from ballast to fixture, bulb not screwed in all the way, etc.

Answer:	Absolutely. Digital ballasts are magnitudes safer as well. If you run a magnetic on 240. And run a digital ballast on 240. Your bill will decrease up to 25% depending on the brand. They save on 120v also. Longer light bulb life. All around a better product than mafnetics.

Answer:	Look on the end by the power input instead of the top plate. It says 120 and 240 there. Typically digital ballasts can run 120 or 240. I have mine on 240 with no issues. Works well and stays cool.

Question:	Which de bulb is compatible with this ballast ? i saw bulbs and they say it needs a minimum of 100 khz. this is 72khz
Answer:	It should draw about 3.5 amps. Remember; watts divided gives amps. But there is some inefficiency.
