Answer:	I bought the lamps I used these on in Spain and Spain uses the same electric plug as Italy so if your item has the two round prongs it should work. These were not very expensive so it is worth a try but you will need to put 110-120 volt bulbs or components inside the gondola not the 220 volt items from italy. You might be able to order only one of these from someone else as well.

Answer:	I don't recommend this product at all. I ordered it, it only worked twice and broke. Stick with the more expensive model from the manufacturer, at least it will work. Look at the other poor ratings others have posted on the Amazon site. Others have had this same experience.

England runs on 240V so as the poster Terri says, these do not voltage convert. They are also huge for what the do (or don't do). England has a different type of plug but you can make these work. Not ideal but they will. Things like cell phone chargers, night lights, computer chargers are often 110 to 240V computable. Verify before you plug in. It will be written on the plug housing. It will say something like "Input 110-240V-50-60Hz" If the 240V is missing do NOT plug it into something without a voltage conversion.
