Answer:	All compression stockings have open toes to be able to check the toes for good circulation. If there's too much compression, the blood circulation to the toes could be restricted.

Answer:	The size chart is the third photo in the description. FWIW, I am a women's 9 to 9.5 (with a thin foot but a high arch), and I sustained a mid-foot injury where wrapping was recommended by podiatrist. I measured my foot and was right on the line between M and L, so I bought a pair of the M (figuring I needed them to be tight). I figured right and these have been a lot of help and they fit in most shoes, unlike wrapping, even with "vet tape". However, perhaps due to my high arches, I cannot sleep in them but must take off at the end of the day even for comfortable relaxing in the recliner.Therefore, measure your foot and if near the limits for a size, (1) if you need compression, size down, but (2) if you need to sleep in them, size up. BTW, I chose this brand because the cuff appeared loosest of the the brands on Amazon -- Did not want to constrict my ankles. They are not LOOSE of course, but I have sport socks that make a deeper indent. If you are diabetic or have circulatory disorder, you should probably seek advice from your physician.

Answer:	If the instructions that come with the product do not answer your questions, then contact the Mfg. I would guess, that new gel packs are part of the unit and are not sold separately. Give them a call.
Question:	Can this item also function as a sleep-brace/immobilizer? I need a brace to keep my foot in the “flex” (standing) position while sleeping
Answer:	No, it’s too soft. The ice packs are amazing though! They keep their cold for a crazy amount of time. There are a lot of other braces designed for nighttime use. This is not one of them. But for icing the foot and ankle, it’s the best one I’ve found. Good luck.

Answer:	The wrap is straight forward on your foot and ankle. The main point of the instructions was whether you should use the hot wrap or cold wrap. Answer:	I have washed it by hand and dried it on the floor heat vents. Seems fine. This is the best brace I've tried so far, although after 3 months during my recovery, it is beginning to fray at the edges...but it does affect the integrity of the brace itself. Good product.

Answer:	I think it should. The way it's made, it goes over your heel 1st then it just wraps around like an ace bandage. I have an 8 1/2" ankle and it seems a little big for me so I think it will fit a 13" ankle. I really like the support it gives.

Question:	Can I walk with this wrap
Answer:	I would not walk around while wearing the wrap. It is not meant to be used this way. You will mess up the gel. Use while resting and elevating.
Question:	Does this have gel in the heel cup to ice back of heel
Answer:	No, but your heel fits into the ice pack and then you wrap it around your ankle. I felt that it iced both my ankle and heel very well.
