User questions & answers
Question: | Is this compatible with Rheem generators |
Answer: | There is a reset button this unit. It's close to where the heating element comes out of the black box. You have to slide it out of the base to press it with a pin or something thin. Also, make sure the box slides into the base all the way. There is a safety switch in one of the channels that slides into the base. If the unit is not in the base it won't turn on. |
Question: | Can it be manually switched to standby |
Answer: | Diameter is 8" so as long as it's size appropriate shouldn't be a problem. |

Siemens standby power mechanical interlock kits provide a means to ensure that the Main breaker powered by utility power within a panel is forced to the OFF position when standby power is in use. It also ensures that the standby source is forced to the OFF position when the utility power is in use. The most common application for these kits is when a portable generator is used to provide back up power to a building. If the utility Main breaker in a panel is left in the -"ON"-position while a generator is powering the panel, dangerous back feeding of the utility power lines can occur. The ECSBPK05 will work on any Siemens or Murray panel that has a QNR(H) or MD-TR(H) Main breaker. The standby power Main breaker must be a two pole, QP or MP type breaker.
- UL Listed
- For use on Siemens or Murray panels
- Main breaker is QNR or MD-TR type
- Standby power breaker must be a QP or MP-T double pole breaker
- No modification of panel required; Breakers not included

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this interlock work on an ite panel with a 2/p mp 100a mail on the too right of the buss bar and a 2/p qp 15a breaker directly under it |
Answer: | I have Denby stoneware and that has worked out perfectly. |
Question: | can I use 2 - 25 double pole breakers (seimens) 0r do I have to use the breakers like in this picture |
Answer: | If the edge of the blade is scraping the block, then it will likely dull the knives. I got a drawer block so my knives rest on the handles. Given how thin the blades are, you could risk bending the blades if they are not pulled straight out of the block, too. Don't get me wrong, these steak knives are awesome and very much like fillet knives in their thinness. I suspect they are fairly tough, too; however, for the price, I'm not about to experiment and test them.Just tell your butler to get these and a drawer block and you will be happy. I know I am. |
Question: | Will interlock work with panel mc0816mb1200p |

Question: | Will this work with a b4242b1200cu |
Answer: | The blade itself (which is the widest part on the knife) maxes out at 1 inch at the base. It is the very widest part of the knife. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will the siemens interlock workpn the old ite panel |
Answer: | Siemens owns some of the circuit breaker business previously branded as GOULD or I-T-E. My old GOULD panels (mid-'80's) call for type QP breakers, among others. Siemens is now the one that sells QP breakers, and I doubt this is some different QP as they look identical. This interlock is for QP (and Murray MP-T) breakers according to the instruction sheet, so it seems likely the interlock would work with an old ite panel using QP breakers. I know this question is old, but people will still look at it so I wanted to clarify. Now to muddy things: I called Siemens support because I wanted to see if I could use a different location for the main utility breaker, since their current documentation shows only using the top left position. He explained the new boxes say this because that is the only spot the screw for the MBR-2 retainer fits. This did not seem to be the case for MBR-1 my panel lists or the retainer in ECSBPK01. Unfortunately, he pointed out that my panel was not listed among those designated as acceptable in the ECSBPK01 instructions. I had thought it was on the list, due to misreading the asterisks. He agreed this just meant that the company had not tested it, but implied the lack of paper trail could be a problem depending on the inspector or insurance. It seems to fit and work perfectly, though. |
Question: | will this work on general electric breakers |
Answer: | OK . . . I'm not a fan of these Generator Transfer ' Brackets ' . To me , they are all somewhat flimsy , BUT , that said , I think that this brand is one of the better ones . It costs more but my recommendation is to go with a separate ' Double Pole Transfer Switch " such as a Siemens Model # DTNF223 . SO . . . yes it works but one has to use it carefully to avoid it bending or not working properly .. |
Question: | Will the ecsbpk01 work with siemens qp breakers installed in a siemens main lug p1224l1125cu |
Answer: | Yes, the ECSBPK01 interlock kit is listed for use with the P1224L1125CU load center and will interlock QP branch breakers. You can download the instruction sheet for the ECSBPK01 as well as a wiring diagram for the P1224L1125CU via our Siemens Download Center. Go to the following link https://w3.siemens.se/download-center/index.html , clikc on "Power Distribution" box. Choose "USA" and then enter the applicable partA# in the search box to find applicable wiring diagram for the P1224L1125CU load center as well as installation instructions for the ECSBPK01. |
Question: | Will this fit GE breakers |
Answer: | did not like this product. Very hard to put on the siemens breakers, also had to much slop on the switches. I couldn't use because of where my main is located |

Question: | Will this fit a. siemens p2424b1100cu |
Answer: | These are sold by the Shun company and are Authentic Shun and come in a Shun box. |
Question: | Would it fit a Siemens S4040B1200 panel |
Answer: | VG10 according to Shun: perfectly good Japanese cutlery steel. Comes wicked sharp. A bigger issue, practically, is that the basic knife comes in (at least) two packagings. One (shown here) is the knife + nice, slender leather sheath, making it a perfect "dining out" gentleman's knife; though this version comes in rather a basic cardboard box. The other is the same knife in a rather smart (still card!), foam-fitted presentation box, though *without* the leather sheath. I ordered here the leather sheath version, as shown, But what came was the sheath-less, presentation box version.... Very annoying. |
Question: | Will this fit a siemens S3 030B1100 panel |
Answer: | Yes, I believe it is. It says KAI 5900 on the blade, and the blade is imprinted with the Shun trademark. I have a Shun chef’s knife and it also has KAI and the Shun trademark imprinted on its blade. |
Question: | Will this device fit a siemens panel p1224b1100cu |
Answer: | Ebony PakkaWood. |
Product description
The Siemens generator ready load center can save thousands of dollars in future generator installation expenses while keeping initial expenses to a minimum allowing for a combination of a load center, transfer switch, and critical circuit sub panel into one neat enclosure. The load center has two interiors, both powered by utility power under normal operating conditions. When utility power is lost, a transfer mechanism switches so that only one interior, which contains the critical circuits, is backed up by a generator. This allows for the use of a smaller, more cost effective generator and to prevent that generator from being overloaded. The transfer switch is not included to provide flexibility in generator selection. For manual operation with portable generators, the Ecsbpk01 interlick kit should be used. For automatic operation on a standby generator, the gentfrswtch should be used.
