Question:	Can i mount the axtra 8-outlet power strip on the table saw
Answer:	Can't see why not. Look online for Garmin-compatible charts, whether from Garmin or not. (My hiking map, with contours and more trails than the USGS maps, was a free download! Look around.) The eTrex models are waterproof, which is a plus. Think seriously about the display size, though. The whole unit fits in the palm of your hand, and its display is only a couple inches high. (See the specs. I might be off a little.) We hikers and hunters can stop and consult the unit, then start walking again. Your boat might travel quite a distance while you peer at that tiny screen, even with the engine stopped. Just a thought.Garmin obviously had boaters in mind when they programmed this, regardless of its size. It even has a "Man Overboard" function that instantly records its current location, then displays the distance and direction back to there while you turn the boat around. It shows tides, too, at whatever tide stations are close to you. Bottom line: it will do everything you need (I think) and do it all day and on into the next morning on a pair of AA cells, but your eyes will ask you why you didn't buy something with a bigger screen.

Answer:	The Oregon and all the Garmin "state" models all have a touch screen, don't they? The eTrex series doesn't. For controls it has the Power/battery check button and "back button on the right, and on the left, the zoom-in and -out buttons, plus the Menu button. On the front, at top-right, is the main control, a little thumbstick. Use it for scrolling and selecting menu items and for moving the map beyond your location.You'll want to spend some time reading the manual; this thing has a LOT of functionality. Answer:	Good afternoon. From what I can find the RK7321 is a heavier built unit with a little more metal and less plastic and includes a wall mount which is not indicated with the RK7323.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the saw unit when off the stand/cart? I’m wanting to store the stand and saw separate for space considerations
Answer:	I bought the saw for just this reason, and was dissatisfied enough that I sent the saw back. The specs say that it will cut wood 1½" wide. Standard pinewood derby cars are 1¾" wide, so they're out of spec, and I can tell you from experience that it's definitely too much for the saw to handle. Even trying to make vertical cuts through the car body, which is only 1¼" tall, is too much for this saw. I tried a bunch of other scrap pieces of wood of varying widths, and with varying (better quality) blades than are included in the kit. I couldn't get the saw to make satisfactory cuts on anything wider than ½". So if you want to make pinewood derby cars, you're better off spending $50 more or so for a small band saw.
Question:	Does anyone know how big is the shipping box? I want to order this to my postal box and I need to know if I can load it in my trunk
Answer:	I have found 1.5 " to be the maximum. I have cross cut 2 x 3s, & ripped a 2x2 (32" long) down to create a custom 1 1/8" for repairing a hollow door--- However that long rip cut took about 10 minutes, using a 'fast' cut blade. It is very slow going on a rip cut-- like 1 mm per 2 seconds. I would expect it would also be very slow on 1" hardwood. It is okay for crosscuting lumber & scroll work & custom part making (slow cuts)... But not a heavy duty machine for production parts

Answer:	Don't know that item, but the exhaust/dust port on the Bosch mikes out @ 2.50" OD and 2.25" ID; so, w 27 mm close to 1.06"...likely not And FYI, bought the official Bosch dust collection bag which does a poor job...I use my VacMaster hose- the outer nozzle plugs snugly into the Bosch port's ID and picks up 80-90 % of the wood dust generated...as long as I remember to turn the vacuum on..which I sometimes don't ...love this table saw

Answer:	I had to enlarge the opening a bit to install the new switch. The saw case is plastic and it's easy to modify the opening with a hacksaw - the kind with a small bayonet type handle for use in tight spaces. The plastic case is very easy to cut through. Got the switch installed and everything works just like it's supposed to.
Question:	Does this saw come with an extension
Answer:	Any time you are replacing a wired item, you should be removing one wire at a time from the old item and placing it on the new one. If you didn't think to do that, it's still not the end of the world. Looking at the switch from the backside, the black wires connect to the left side terminals and the white wires go to the right side. Answer:	With the foot activator mounted on the inside the foot print measures 27" x 21.5". With the activator on the outside the measurements are 33.5" x 21.5". These were measured at the floor level. The fiber board table top is 23" x 20". I hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes you can. I have taken quite a few 120 volt appliances to Europe and used a transformer to step up the voltage. Voltage is NOT the concern. Europeans use 50 cycle AC. In the US we use 60. So motors will run a bit slower but they will work. Conversely, if you bring a European motor appliance to the US, they will run faster and probably burn out the motor.

Question:	How hard is it to level the jig when adjusting the side support
Answer:	The bit is capable of being set to the depth of 1/4. I have never personally made a dovetail this small though because I used the jig only a few times and I only worked with soft woods. I believe if hardwoods were being used 1/4 would be adequate depth.

Answer:	I believe the bit is a 3/8 dovetail bit. I bought mine when I bought the jig. I would look up the jig on amazon and go to the "people who bought this item often buy..." I think that's how I got mine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, it folds up very easily. However, it is bolted to the table saw, and it will not fold when attached, (which is good thing when you are using it!). What I do, when I haul this table saw, is just lay it on its side (with the stand attached) in the bed of the truck. It saves me unbolting the stand to haul it, and bolting it together again to to use it at the job site. The table saw that fits this stand is very light, so moving or lifting it with the stand on is no problem.

Answer:	I bought a new one today from a lumberyard and it is a Type 1. (says right on the sticker on the motor) Not sure if that means the slide mechanism is better or worse than the Type 20. I would assume it was made in 2014 because there is a "Dewalt use only" tag on the box which starts with 2014. Not sure if a "fresher" saw is a Type 20

Answer:	mmToolparts actually sells a kit (3 proprietary DeWalt parts + their wiring harness) for less than $70. They have videos on their website that show how to install the parts on DW716, DWS779, and DWS782 saws. You will need some additional tools (torx screw drivers or torx bits, wire strippers/cutter/crimper) and somewhat mechanically inclined. Just google "DWS779 xps light kit" and they should be the top result. This might be an easier option versus going to a DeWalt service center in the post pandemic world.

Answer:	It does not come with any laser for guidance. You may find my answer a bit crude, I've been using miter saws for many years and the best guiding system I found to work is my/your eyes. Having lasers or no lasers you still need to use your eyes to get the work piece spot on near the cutoff point. Hope this helps!

Answer:	You can add the LED light to this saw. Not a laser but a shadow light that show exactly where the saw blade will cut. I just did it last night. Parts can be had for about $70. This basically turns it into a model 780 which is much more expensive. Pretty simple to add.

I would recommend getting the saw horses also as they are the same height and help support bigger pieces. I highly recommend both of them. Enjoy!
