Answer:	If you have no Internet, this thermostat will simply operate as a non-WiFi enabled programmable thermostat (e.g., follow the schedule that you previously created) OR you use the buttons on it to adjust it manually. The only thing you lose with not having the Internet is the ability to use your phone to interact with it (e.g., change the settings and/or update the schedule). Just pretend like it is 1970 and adjust the thermostat like your parents did.

Answer:	I did the following in a two-wire heat-only setup and it worked: 1) On the back panel of the new thermostat, remove the small jumper between the RC and R connectors. 2) Connect the outputs of a 24V AC transformer (I happened to use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DJ7RHS5?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image) to the RC and C connectors on the new thermostat back panel. It does not matter which of these two wires goes to RC and which goes to C. 3) Connect the wire that had gone to either RC or R on the old thermostat to the R connector on the new thermostat back panel. Connect the wire that had gone to W on the old thermostat to the W connector on the new thermostat back panel. 4) Plug in the transformer to a nearby 120 V outlet. Snap the body of the new thermostat onto its back panel. Continue with the instructions provided with the new thermostat.

Answer:	You don't need this sensor to operate a nest thermostat. The best has a temperature sensor built in. It will take the room temperature where the nest is installed and regulates the AC based on that room. Some folks have the need to control an additional space during certain times of the day. Most common would be a bedroom during night time. With the extra sensor you can set up the AC to bring the temperature of the bedroom to a certain temperature regardless what the temperature is in the room the nest thermostat is in. So it's a comfort feature. You can try the next by itself and if you find that you want to change temperature control to your bedroom you can add it later.
Question:	Hi my home has 5 zones do i need just one nest? or do i need one in each zone? would the sensors be good enough
Answer:	If you are going to replace your thermostat with Nest thermostat, a one for one replacement for each thermostat. Now, if you have just one thermostat and five zones, then it implies that you are monitoring temperature and providing feedback to the thermostat for each zone. To put it simple one nest thermostat, plus sensors will give you the hability to keep one selected room at a temeprature desired. Just select the sensor you want to set as controlling. For more than one thermostat you will need the above set up multiple times. The Nest application is one the most user friendly apps I have ever used.

Answer:	No deadband. It has heat mode for heat only, cool mode for cooling only and auto mode. if you set the temp in auto mode the ac and heater will maintain the set temp. Set it to 71 and temp drops to 70 the heater will turn on and if the temp rises to 72 the ac will turn on.

Answer:	You can see it on "Cool to Dry" mode, but it uses your air-conditioning to regulate the humidity. This can be expressive because it may cool beyond the temp you set

Answer:	it's mechanical,so water shouldn't interfere with operation. My concern would be with premature rusting of the internal parts, like timer spring and valve and release mechanism. I believe these timers are designed to get wet, just not stay wet.

Question:	Is this product compatible with the Bosch Greenstar condensing boilers
Answer:	Yes there’s an auto function. You can set your desire temp and set it to either “heat, cool, auto” and if the thermostat is set to auto, it will adjust to the temp by cooling or heating. If it is set to either heat or cool, then the thermostat will just cut off once it reaches its temperature by heating or cooling. It won’t constantly adjust. Just heat when needing heat. And cool when needing cooling.
Question:	My home is very old. With water steam radiator. Would this be a problem
Answer:	It has dim bright and off. Very nice
Question:	Will it automatically switch switch between heat and cool to maintain desired temp
Answer:	The main unit,, thermostat, will shut off when the desired temperature reaches the set temperature at the sensor if the sensor is selected on the nest app.

Answer:	It should work. The thermostat just calls for the boiler to go on and off, same as any heat system. I have the same and it works fine in my 1870 house in Connecticut.

Answer:	Greetings. Sorry, but I had electrician install- didn't see the setup of this particular device. Device should come with wiring diagrams

Question:	Have a mrcool diy. just want to expand capabilities. does flair puck turn heat down to a very low setting if you leave for a week? how low
Answer:	It's good for a resistive load up to 14.6 amp. The wattage will depend on whether it's 240v or 120v. Roughly 3500 W at 240V, 1750W at 120V, per the user's manual. It's only good for a resistive load like a baseboard heater, not an inductive load like a relay.

Answer:	This has the ability to be used for wall fan units if this is what you are asking (meaning it won't turn on/off every couple seconds). It is in the settings (by default it is set for baseboards; meaning it will turn on/off regularly). After you install it, read the instructions and change to a fan unit.
