Answer:	I keep the top of our unit about 24" below a glass porch covering, protected from the elements and not requiring the cover. Moisture has not been a problem. Heating elements are lasting about a year with periodic, not daily, use.

Question:	There is a 60 amp, 240 volt, 3-hole plug in my shop (electric kiln). Can I attach a cord with appropriate 3-prong plug? Does it come with a chord
Answer:	It does not seem that the previous answer is entirely correct. I may have misread it though. If you have one "line" going to both the light and the fan then you would have to connect the both the fan and the light to either the fan switch or light switch. This would mean that the light and fan will do the same thing; either both on or both off. If you connect the fan and light to the light switch then the motion sensor would turn the fan and light on and off. If you connect the fan and light to the fan switch then humidity sensor would turn the fan and light on and off. That said the fan might be too large of a load (current draw) for the light switch if connected that way. I am not sure on that. My fan has a small night light on it so for both to turn on based on the humidity is no big deal but I would not want my main bathroom light to turn on based on humidity.

Answer:	you have to slide it on to the pole, it has a hole with a clamp in it. most table umbrellas are able to pull out from the base and you put the umbrella through the hole. but if your not able to do that the heater will not open up to clamp onto the pole. hope this helps
Question:	I have a working Fahrenheat baseboard heater missing this exact knob. Do you know if this knob could replace it
Answer:	I made the mistake of not checking my umbrellas before purchasing this heater. I have two patio umbrellas, but both have cranks on them, which prevents the heater from being able to be slid up the umbrella pole. This patio heater can only be used on a standard pole. There is some flexibility in the width of the pole as the heater fan has a screw that tightens over varying pole widths. I have since purchased a 1.5 inch closet pole to use with the heater and it works fine. I believe a 1 3/4 inch pole would work just as well.

Answer:	Yes, the temporary bypass enables temperature override without changing programming.

Answer:	Probably not. This is for a resistive load and the pump motor is an inductive load. I would check with Honeywell to be sure.
Question:	How is this supposed to mount? It's described as if it is a replacement for a thermostat. That's not my situation
Answer:	2 main differences that I see:#1 the wattage is different. for the th106, you have 2000/4000 Watts for (120/240 volts) and the th104 only has 1750/3500 watts. it's not a big deal unless you have requirements on how many or how big of heaters you are controlling. For me, I have 1 medium and 2 small baseboards which totals to 2000 watts on 120 volts.#2 the programming is different. on the th106 you can specify temps for each day of the week-differently, whereas the 104's programming allows for weekend/weekday modes.
