Question:	The guy in the video mentions rounding off the square edges. How is this done
Answer:	He just means that unless you use a heat source (i.e. a hair dryer) you won't get the sharp edge of your counter. However, if you look at real granite, the edges aren't pointy, even on squared edges. I think it looks great either way. I use a hair dryer in order to get my excess to stick tight before trimming it up.
Question:	My counter tops have an L shape. How do you handle cutting a corner
Answer:	Just butt the seams 45 degree or 90 degree angle. You will see seams on L Shaped counter tops no matter what, but you can make them less visible by putting random dots with permanent black marker on the seams after trying to make them as tight as you can.
Question:	How durable is it? Will it stain? Will water left standing on it affect it? Do you recommend using it around the kitchen sink
Answer:	It's very durable . I have had no problems with stains , and I get water on it constantly with no problems. It holds up very well around the sink even with water getting on the edges and has not peeled up at all, you can use a clear caulk to seal around the sink as well.I highly recommend this product.
Question:	Is there any strong scent to the glue, or strong odor at all
Answer:	No strong smell, but adhesive is not very strong.

Question:	Can this be used on the unfinished basement floor
Answer:	it might not work as unfinished floor/concrete will not give you a smooth surface to stick and uniform look. also it can easily tear.
Question:	Can I use this as kitchen backsplash? and what heavy duty glue should I use for extra hold under the trim of my laminate countertop
Answer:	This will work on your backsplash. You will want to use a bead of chalk, or adhesive (Liquid Nails) along the inside corner of the counter and backsplash to help keep them tight in the corner. If the underside of your counter is that rough particle board, you will want to use Liquid Nails or something like that. If the underside is smooth, you shouldn't need any adhesive.
Question:	How easy is the product to remove? I live in a rental and will need to remove when I move out
Answer:	Hello! I have not removed it yet, but when I was putting it on it was pretty easy to pull up and maneuver if crooked. Hope this helps! ...I love the way it looks definitely a great purchase.

Answer:	I'm just re-ordering a new one for my counters after a year and half of pretty average use. I could probably get away with leaving it longer as there's nothing obviously wrong with it - the surface just scuffs and scratches over time more than a normal countertop.

Answer:	Just spoke to customer service. They said nothing over 70 degree Celsius (158 degrees F). Should use pot holders with hot pans and dishes.
Question:	Does anyone have any experience on how this product handles hot plates, hot food splashes from a cooktop, or steam venting from a dishwasher
Answer:	I haven't had any problems with the steam from dishwasher. I don't put anything super hot on it but I have had plates with hot food on them and it doesn't bother it. I plan on putting a coat or two of polyeurathane over it for added durability.
Question:	can it be wiped off with water
Answer:	Yes. You can use cleaner too.
Question:	Can you polyurethane Over it to provide extra protection

Question:	Could it be put on the wall as a backsplash
Answer:	I applied this product to a smooth table surface. Looks really nice. I think it would work well as a backsplash as long as your applying to a smooth surface.
Question:	how hard is it to cover the edges if they are 90 degrees and not rounded
Answer:	first problem is it looks very fake save your money and buy the real thing but if you are doing a countertop in a rental it works ok but will need to be replaced after the renter moves out it tears easily but corners also look fake and they also come apart easily
Question:	has anyone put epoxy resin on this to make it durable
Answer:	I haven't. But truly I wouldn't think the irritation and extra time would be worth it. I've had mine on the counter for more than a year now and except for the one spot where I placed (and drug) the microwave before it was completely dry---I did a wet install---it's still in perfect condition. And I prepare daily meals from scratch, so it gets plenty of use. Just make sure it dries before you put anything on it---if you are doing a wet install---and avoid placing hot items on it and you should be fine without resin.
Question:	Do any of the gold tones shimmer or sparkle in the light
Answer:	no not on our counter top we dont have alot of lighting so I had to say no but it looks great we love it

Answer:	It depends on the length of the counters. It took two rolls to complete 4 kitchen counters and a full bar counter. So I truly believe that it would probably take 1 roll.

Answer:	It is easily cut for installation purposes with a regular pair of scissors. I f you were asking can you cut ON this .........no, protect it just as you would any other countertop, use a cutting board.
