Question:	Can this be used on my joist between my joist and my composite decking
Answer:	I don't know. I've only use it to bond metal to metal objects. I bonded 1" brackets on Solar Panels to roof of camper trailer. They're secure at 65 mph and have been on two years and about 15,000 miles of travel. Good luck.
Question:	Can it be plastered over it
Answer:	I doubt it. This is the same adhesive strip that comes on a strip of LED Lights that go under kitchen cabinets. It’s only 1/4 inch wide and its make of foam rubber. I used it to replace that adhesive when I moved a strip of lights, which weigh next to nothing. They make this in wider rolls which may give you the strength you need.
Question:	is there a tape for sealing subfloor sections before laying lenoleum
Answer:	I have not tried it on the walls, but it works to re-attach my truck's molding to the metal truck door. If you use this on the wall, it may not come off - this is heavy duty mounting tape!
Question:	It sticks to the aluminum facing polyisocyanurate rigid insulation
Answer:	I beleive this is a silicone base and it may be strong enough to take off paint .. there are products made to hang pictures that 3m makes that you can find easily that are paint and wall friendly where the adhesive can peel away easily without damaging it.

Answer:	Thinset will not bond well to certain types of tiles. You will need to consult with a thinset manufacturer to make sure you can get a good bond between the tile and membrane.
Question:	does this require a vapor barrier underneath
Answer:	The membrane goes directly onto the sub-floor and then heating wire is snapped in between the pillars of the membrane. A heating mat is a different product that does not work with membrane like this. For this you need loose wire that will snap into it.

Answer:	We recommend this product under ceramic and stone tile. I would not recommend it for bamboo. There are other products on the market that would be a better fit for you

Answer:	From what I’ve read, it depends on what your subfloor is. I used MAPEI floor tile mortar which meets ANSI A118.1 standards. I was applying it to concrete which calls for un-modified mortar per ANSI A118.1. If adhering to wood subfloor you should used a modified mortar. With that said, the mortar you use to adhere the tile to the membrane should be un-modified. Plan to use almost twice the amount of mortar when setting the tile (if the mortar states it’ll cover 90 square feet, it’ll actually only cover about 45 square feet since the mortar will fill the squares within the membrane). Also let the mortar between the tile and membrane to dry a little longer, then stated on the directions on the mortar package, prior to grouting. I understand that the membrane reduces the amount of airflow so the majority of the mortar drying takes place through the area that will be grouted (by the time I get to grouting the tile I put down, the mortar will have been drying about a week to a week and a half.

Although the XFasten Construction Seaming Tape can be plastered over, it is not meant to be covered with palstic as it is for sealing seams on construction sheets. The surface of the XFasten Construction Seaming Tape is also glossy, which means that plaster would not hold over it as strong as on other surfaces. Please note that waterproofing membrane fabric sheets are non-adhesive, so you would need a waterproofing membrane liquid first to seal off the surface and make the membrane sheets adhere to the subfloor. Answer:	No heat pad, just the carrier. PBS's Cook's Country (America's Test Kitchen) looked at several casserole carriers and determined this one kept a 9"x13" 180 degrees F ziti casserole hot (140F or above) for 3 hours where the others they tested only did it for an hour. It also determined a 9"x13" casserole dish did NOT slip in this one. This one was their recommended choice which is why I'm getting one. When I bring food to Easter, Thanksgiving, etc. gatherings, I often bring a 12" x 9" disposable lasagna pan full of some veggie dish plus other food in a crock pot. I have a crock pot carrier and heat there isn't a problem because I can plug it in at the event. A 12 x 9 disposable pan may have to sit it inside a 13"x 9" glass or aluminum casserole dish to hold it steady, but that's not a problem for me.
