Question:	does this mascara have fibers
Answer:	No, it doesn't have fibers. It lengthens lashes very well though. I have short lashes and with this I at least have the appearance of lashes. I do use this New York Maybelline mascara and it does well and doesn't end up under your eyes by the end of the day. If you want a mascara with fibers the only one I know is by a company called Younique. It's a 2 step system. First you put on the mascara/glue, then apply the fibers until you are satisfied and then repeat the layer of mascara/glue to seal the fibers on. If you skip this step the fibers will fall off. If you want fibers, check out Younique online. My niece sells it and it runs about $36 for the set.

Answer:	I love this mascara! It stays put and does not smudge on me! I have been using it for several years and have tried other mascaras, but I always come back to Maybelline Stiletto!!

Answer:	yes, I just spent the day at the beach, swimming in the ocean and then took a hot shower -still there. I wouldn't try scrubbing on it though. To remove it, I use baby oil and cotton balls to wipe it off. I love this brand!

Question:	Can this be used with masks
Answer:	Not if you wear your mask over your whole face. If you only wear a mask over your nose and mouth and only wear mascara on your eyes you should be ok unless your mask gets accidentally pushed up your face and over your eyes while your mascara is still wet then it might smudge a little bit and you could even get it in your eyes which totally stings. What’s worse is if you then pull your mask back down over your mouth, it could smudge down your whole face and you could then get it in your mouth and on your teeth. You can cover up most of it with the mask but all of the smudges on your upper nose, eyes and forehead will be visible. When it happens to me I just wear sunglasses which helps. So, yes it can, you just have to be careful.

Answer:	I wish it came in brown too. Sometimes black can appear to harsh and too contrasting from the color of my skin. I like the effect of dark full lashes but without it overpowering the overall makeup look!

Answer:	I did not experience this. I have been using the mascara for awhile now and have nothing but good to say about it. There is very little odor when I open it and I am "scent" sensitive. I suggest you return it for an exchange. Don't give up on this. Hope this helps and works out.

Answer:	I just got mine wrapped in a plastic shrink wrap seal, that had to be removed to open; This is the BEST mascara! I have long, thin lashes and I all but gave up wearing mascara because they would always clump together. With this product I can wear mascara and put on two coats; no clumping!

I'm buying this (probably chocolate or espresso, since blonde will be way too light) to disguise and control those gray hairs. My brows are now thinning some on the outer ends, so I do fill in a little there with a matching pencil. And, by the way, I don't look weird. So no, not everyone with gray hair must have gray brows. Question:	Are these products compatible with contact lens
Answer:	I don't wear contacts but I can say that the mascara does not break off in any way, so nothing gets in your eye.
Question:	Is this mascara swimming-proof strong waterproof
Answer:	I found that this mascara is great for everyday waterproof - not good for swimming - I read a couple of reviews that stated people washed it off in the shower and others stated they couldn't get it off with makeup remover. I tried both. It took several splashes of warm water before it started to run - and eventually - though not all of it - started to melt away. I use a covergirl waterproof eye makeup remover and a wash cloth made for make up removal, and it came off just fine. I have to admit, there were a lot of little fibers at the bottom of the shower when completed, but easily washed down the drain. This mascara is well worth the try, believe me. I have been using it now for a week or more, and I love it! I even bought some for a co-worker to try - I love it. RA

Answer:	Gave my son a bath and had water splashed in my eye, my mascara started coming off. Crying didn’t smear it, but easily came off when I wiped my bottom lashes with a tissue

Answer:	It's black but in my opinion not overly dramatic black. This is a great mascara, you can choose how you want your eyelashes to look by how much you apply. For day I go easy, just enough to show but when going out I pile it on and it looks great, no clumping or flaking and it comes off easily with eye make-up removed. I'll buy this mascara again, hope this helped!

Question:	will these work on my product
Answer:	I have no problem removing this mascara. I don't even have to use make-up remover...I simply wash my face with Neutrogena facial soap and there is enough moisturizer in the soap to soften and remove the mascara. That is one of the many reasons that I love this awesome waterproof mascara so much.
Question:	Is this waterproof version extremely difficult to remove? I know some wp formulas are a nightmare...Thanks
Answer:	To my disappointment, they stopped making the black/brown years ago. I had used it for many years because it is a wonderful mascara for all the reasons described in the favorable reviews. I do not like black with my coloring: reddish blonde, blue eyes, light complexion. Black looks too harsh on me so I switched to another brand that has black/brown. I would use Lash Discovery again If they ever go back to making it in black/brown which has a warmer tone than their black, and still accents my eyelashes just as well. The brush is so easy to use, you can build layers with out clumps if you want more volume. The lashes look real with this mascara. My opthomoligist recommended it to me because I was have allergy problems with most mascaras.
Question:	Can you get this in brown instead of very black
Answer:	I believe you could swim without the mascara smearing. I have extremely dry eyes, and have to apply artificial tears several times a day. The mascara does NOT run or smudge when I wear it, even for a full day. It is the only mascara that I can use that does not irritate my eyes.
Question:	How waterproof is this mascara? Would I be able to swim while wearing it
Answer:	This mascara lasts very long - it's actually hard to fully get off even with makeup remover which is not a good thing. So it may hold curled lashes well, but I can't personally attest to that

Question:	I got blackest black is that a good one
Answer:	I love and use l'Oreal Voluminous mascara exclusively, but I have found that on me the Carbon Black does smudge. Using the primer helps, but I avoid this color. I haven't experienced smudging with any other color and right now am using brownish black. It's a nice daytime color. (the Carbon Black is a great color for dramatic nighttime use, and it may not smudge on you! Worth a try!).
Question:	does this mascara flake or smudge by the end of the day
Answer:	I have bought this many times . It is dark and not to much difference then the black one. I personally think the color is great.
Question:	Has anyone used the black/brown color? Is it a deep brown color or lighter brown
Answer:	The difference is the type of pigment that is used. Traditional mascaras use different oxidation states of iron oxides (black, red, and yellow with the red and yellow being only used in the brown shade). In carbon black the black iron oxide pigment is replaced with a carbon compound that has a much deeper more obsidian appearance. Black iron oxides are naturally occurring minerals and vary on the shade their "blackness" where the carbon black is much more consistently deep black.
Question:	what is the difference between "blackest black" and "carbon black
Answer:	I am 61 and have been using Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser for over 20 years and would never change. Mascara slides right off with this, lipstick melts off, truly. I buy the larger size, I believe 16 oz and it last a year. I wear makeup five days a week unless I go some where on the weekend. I have recommended to so many friends over the years and my two daughters. Honestly they are hook and love it. Do to albolene on amazon and see the reviews. It replenishs my skin and would never change. Note, you only need a small amount. My mom is 82 and she loves it.
