Answer:	I don't own one but imagine it has everything to do with the weight of the gate, hinges, post, and friction. EX a lightweight 50# aluminum gate would take considerably less force than a 500# steel gate to open.
Question:	Is this compatible with the Homelink opener that is already built into my car? I tried programming it for about 30 minutes, but had no luck
Answer:	I was unable to program either one of my two Toyota Camry (2007 and 2018) Homelink systems to work with our new Ghost Controls gate system. Used two different remotes that worked on their own. Spent about 30-45 minutes, followed the instructions exactly, kept the buttons pressed until they timed out on their own -- at least 2 minutes -- no sign of recognitiion by the Homelink systems. My Genie garage door opener signals were previously cloned on both cars without difficulty, and continue to work.

The Linear safety beam sender and receiver set is compatible with Linear garage door opener models LSO50, LDO33 and LDO50. The set includes a short wire that gets spliced into the operators existing sensor wires. Does not include sensor mounting brackets.

Question:	Is their any programming needed after swapping out sensors
Answer:	Worked on mine.
Question:	will this work on overhead doors
Answer:	They make connecting exsiting wires to new sensor very easy and quick, just snip and strip wires from existing sensor, remove red cap from clear plastic, place stripped wire in metal fork repositon red cap to same original orientation and press it into place, locking in the connection. Cavity in clear plastic should contain a clear grease which protects and waterproofs the connection. Don't over think this, its quick and easy. Do place wires in same orientation entering sensor as original wires. mine worked fine first try. I'm very pleased with these devices. Good luck --from Lee
Question:	I just ordered this but it came with no instructions, how to I use the clear/red cap
Answer:	Just for one door.
Question:	Is this for one door or two
Answer:	They just splice in to the existing sensor wires going up to the opener . In the front of the red cap there are two holes . Place One of the two wires coming from the center into one of the holes. Please one of the other wires coming from the garage on one of the sides of the garage into the other hole. Clamp down on the red button like it is a button with ploers and it will click in and connect the wires together and make connection without having to strip the wire at all.
