Answer:	No. The rod/rail goes through loops or end pieces, which are part of the brackets. If the brackets are secured properly to your wall or cabinet they should not fall.
Question:	Will this work for dx in a tree without a earth ground an without the groundplane kit
Answer:	I have it mounted to the underside of a cabinet and it holds a dutch oven, three frying pans, and two saucepans (all stainless steel) without difficulty. The only potential problem is that the mounting screws are rather short, and vibrations can make them come out over time. You might want to add a dab of super glue when installing.

Answer:	It can be used on any bed if you can mount it at each end to your bed frame (headboard and footboard). It is adjustable for length so is very versatile. I used one to beef up my full size bed support so that I could throw out my box spring and use mattress only with a few wooden board cross supports. I got the two mounting brackets at my local IKEA for free just for asking for them at the customer service counter. Of course I bought my beam directly at the IKEA store and not online. It was much cheaper at IKEA, just check the IKEA website. Worth the trip.
