Answer:	If you are going to increase your wall width to accommodate an outlet or supply line, you would want to account for the drywall thickness plus the distance needed for the outlet or supply line. You must ensure nothing comes in contact with the door.

1x 46" Door Jamb Shield

This 46" long steel plate reinforces the jamb area (also known as the door frame). Includes knockout holes to fit doors with locks that are between 4.5" and 21.5" apart (center-to-center). Standard door locks are 5.5" apart.

2x 4" Door Shields

Answer:	I have not seen any armor product for a door that thick, even if they did if anyone wanted to get in they would just lean into your door or kick it in

Answer:	Yes, it will work, the main brace for the lock side of the door will go on either side, you just flip it over so that the bend in it fits around the molding on the side of the door frame that it will need to be mounted on.

Answer:	Yes. That would be Armor Concepts Fix-a-jamb line of products. Which are made for 1-3/8" inch thick doors, a standard interior door measurement.Fix-a-jamb Interior (comes with white, aged bronze, and satin nickel finishes) & Fix-a-jamb Mobile. These kits main purpose is to repair, not secure. Armor Concepts will be coming out with securing solutions for interior doors soon.
Question:	is the little edge of steel visible on the inside of the home
Answer:	The spacing will be off. The punch-out spacing on the jamb shield goes from 5-1/2" inches on center to 20-1/2" inches. The measurement you need would be off by an inch if you used our jamb shield on the frame.
