Warm Tips to Get an Accurate Testing Result:

1. Before blood collection, wash your hands with warm water or neutral soap and rub the finger for blood collection repeatedly until the blood volume is rich.

2. You could disinfect finger abdomen with 75% alcohol, collect blood after alcohol evaporated.

3. Before each test, make sure that the surface of strip is free from moisture or other contamination, and avoid touching the blood sampling area of the strip.

4. Close the cap of the vial immediately after taking out the strip. It is best to use the strip within 3 minutes of taking it out.

5. After the blood drop is formed, wipe off the first drop, collect the subsequent one to test.

6. Make sure enough blood is collected at one time, don't add blood for a second time.

7. If it didn't bleed after pricking your finger, or the blood is insufficient, it is best to hang your hand naturally and wait for 5 seconds. If necessary, squeeze from the center of the palm to the fingertips. Do not directly squeeze the fingertips. Or adjust the depth of the lancing device to collect blood again.

8. Take turns to collect blood from different fingers. Blood collection on the ventral side of the finger is not only less painful, but also adequate.

Answer:	It will grow mold if there's mold, but if you want to know what kind of mold, you have to send it away. For example, when I followed the directions and placed mine out in open, a little bit of mold started growing. We then knew there were mold spores in the area and it was slow growing mold, based of length of time and amount of mold present in petrie dish. If you want to know if it's the dangerous kind, etc., then you would have to send away. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Good Morning The RMR-86 generally has a stronger bleach like odor. Some don't notice the smell while others do. The RMR-141, on the other hand, only has a slight lemon smell that is used as a tracer. This odor goes away after just a few minutes. Question:	What kind of "gas mask" should be used for treating a ceiling
Answer:	You want to use a 3M 6900 series full face mask with cartridges for mold and chemicals. You will also need to get a heavy duty Tyvek suit, shoe covers, and disposable gloves (you can buy a set with the suit, booties and gloves on Amazon for $10). I also suggest getting a ULV cold fogger and fogging the whole room, as live spores from the moldy ceiling will have dispersed over everything in the room, including the walls. If you don’t treat the whole room, these live spores will reinfect the space. Once you are done treating the room, remove the body protection immediately outside the room and dispose in a heavy contractor trash bag and take the sealed bag outside. Before removing the body protection, take your mask off and put in a trash bag, take it outside as well. Remove the cartridges, and use RMR Botanical to spray the mask to kill any live spores. Once the room is fogged, use a shopvac style vacuum with a HEPA filtration system and dust bag to vacuum the room top to bottom to remove dead spores. Once finished, take the vacuum outside and discard the dust bag in a contractor trash bag as well.

Answer:	I am not sure what you mean about the drain in shower. However I have used this product every where! Its amazing. I use in the shower, sinks, on hardwood floors, baseboards, patio furniture, and on my vinyl siding on my house. I think they are just advising you to test it in small area and stating that certain materials might counteract with this product. I will say, make sure you house is well ventilated when using, because it is really potent.
Question:	How big of an area with a 32 ounce clean
Answer:	If you need to treat a large area, I suggest using a ULV cold fogger. I purchased the Longray ULV portable electric cold fogger to kill toxic mold and spores under and in my house. We used the spray bottle of RMR-86 to clean and remove the source of mold (inner Ceramics crack in toilet was leaking water under the floorboards and house for a year), then sprayed RMR-141 directly on the wood where the fuzzy green/black mold was growing in addition to a 100% wide perimeter (about 15 sq ft) all of this within a containment tent. We still have 3/4 of a bottle left. After it dried for a couple days, we used Rot Terminator to harden and seal all of the wood. We then used the ULV fogger with RMR-141 to fog the crawl space under the whole house and a basement studio apartment where a sewer ejection pump failure resulted in a sewage water flood. A water restoration and mold remediation company hadn’t completed the necessary steps in a timely manner and didn’t complete demolition of the total directly affected walls and floor. Upstairs we used the ULV fogger with RMR Botanical to fog 3200 sq ft of living space, every inch, including all furniture, wooden blinds, window treatments, inside cabinets, closets, mattresses, etc. We only used 1.5 gallons. Then the whole house was vacuumed and wiped down to remove the dead spores. I am highly chemical sensitive due to suffering from acute mycotoxicity, and because I am a scientist/doctor who has also studied homeopathy and naturopathic medicine extensively, knew the ingredients of the botanical spray would be safe for me AND kill molds/bacteria/viruses.

This stuff is potentially dangerous at full strength and breathing it even when diluted would be hazardous. Danger is very much related to concentration with this product and it does not take a lot. The active ingredient is N-Dodecyl/tetradecyl-N, N-dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride also referred to as Benzalkonium Chloride. The only way to be 100% sure results are accurate is to send the same set of samples to multiple labs and compare. With any test there are many variables that can alter the outcome such as : collection methods, human error, and etc. This makes it difficult to be 100% sure about any test even if it comes from an accredited lab. After working in a commercial accredited lab I am confidant that our results are as accurate or more accurate than theirs.

Answer:	I just listened to a talk by a functional health-care worker who treats mold related illnesses, Evan Brand. Says he's had hundreds of patients do "plate" tests to test household air that he believes are reliable. (I guess some say plates are not reliable.) These are petri dishes you put out to collect airborne molds. His website sells the ImmunoLytics Mold Test Kits. I found them available on Amazon, and directly from the manufacturer too. Unfortunately there are no reviews and they're pricy ($35/1 plate, around $95/3). This includes analysis. I'm on the fence about these due to the price (and possible effectiveness). Here's the rub... ImmunoLytics appears to do the same thing as the spot tests sold here does, just in a different collection medium. They sell the petri dishes for $3, so the cost is in the analysis. Why it it less than half the cost for the tests here, versus an air sample? The price seems excessive compared to these test strips.

Answer:	The tests to look for, when looking for a UTI, are usually leukocytes and nitrites. Leukocytes are white blood cells, your body's defense against any invader. Those being present suggest that there is something wrong. Nitrites are a sign of bacteria; they produce various nitrite compounds as they live and die and cause trouble. When leukocytes are detected without any nitrites being present, most other tests suggest retesting. The leukocyte test pad is the most sensitive to air, light, and humidity. However, some bacteria and most yeasts can cause a bladder infection that does not produce any nitrite. So, if you get a positive result for LEU and a negative for NIT, probably still worth contacting your doctor. Blood and protein are also other signs of an infection; blood alone could suggest a kidney or bladder stone while protein alone does require a doctor to investigate. As always, talk to your doctor and know what signs to look for. They can tell you what your past infections have been and what tests are indicative of results that they think you should be concerned with.
