Based on 41 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The Graphene XT Xenon is for players with very accurate shot placement. Its thin beam is much more aerodynamic for closer shots and better retrieval once the ball hugs the wall. The weight redistribution of HEAD's new Graphene XT technology combines speed and maneuverability without losing any accuracy. Graphene is Head's newest breakthrough technology. This material has a breaking strength 200 times greater than steel, which makes it the ultimate substance for creating new HEAD racquet frames with exceptional properties. For the first time, it allows an optimal redistribution of weight from the tip to grip. It enables a redistribution of weight compared to traditional frames, taking weight out of the middle and adding weight to the top and bottom to allow players to generate more kinetic energy when they hit the ball. This design allows you to generate more power with less weight and less effort. PLEASE NOTE: This racquet comes pre-strung from manufacturer.

Head Metallix 130 Squash Racket [Misc.]

Head

Based on 49 reviews Check latest price

Product description

This squash racquet has everything you're looking for - Power, Maneuverability and Control. Featuring Flexpoint construction and Metallix technology, this racquet will immediately have you hitting your best shots more often. HEAD Metallix: Made of a specially designed matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy. This alloys grain size is 1,000 times smaller than that of a typical metal. The decreased grain size means increased performance, or, as the Hall-Petch Effect states: smaller grains = stronger material. The result is a lighter, stronger and more powerful racquet than ever before. Flexpoint Technology: Breaking the rules of traditional racquet design. Consumers have long been asking for more control in a racquet, now HEAD has the answer. Flexpoint, an exciting new technology that places two precisely engineered control holes in the racquet's head. These two newly designed holes, positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock on the racquet head, work together to bring power in control. The dimple is engineered to create flexibility by reducing beam height by a maximum of 25 %. The hole increases sectional flexibility up to 50%. The racquet forms a "cup" that surrounds the ball. Dwell time is increased and control is maximized. To visualize this, think of how your hand cups a ball. This cupping effect produces control like never before, with no loss of power. The end result? Unprecedented control with absolutely no loss of power. RACQUET COMES FACTORY STRUNG. NO COVER INCLUDED.

User questions & answers

Question: This racket includes bag cover
Answer: We only have this one Junior Squash racquet in stock, so I really cannot recommend anything else. You want to get a short racket, and the Junior rackets are perfect at 25" in length. 5.5 years old is rather young for squash. Their ability and coordination is a better determinant to the child's performance, more so than the racket.
Question: I need to get this racquet restrung. The guy at Dicks Sporting Goods asked me how much tension should it be set to.. Any suggestions guys ? TIA
Answer: Made in China.
Question: What is your warranty period
Answer: The length is almost 27", however we have never heard of an airline that has stopped rackets from being cabin luggage. Peter, OfCourts
Question: does it come prestrung
Answer: Hello, The "L" stands for ladies. The only difference between this L and non L version is the cosmetic.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this comes with a cover
Answer: It includes a slip that covers the head but not the handle. There's no strap or handle so I don't know if you could call it a bag.
Question: does the racquet come strung
Answer: Basically, Higher Tension = More Control; Lower Tension = More Power. Comes down to player preference. Personally I like higher tension because I like to get the ball as close to the tin as possible but if you like power.. go looser. Or something in the middle if you want well-rounded.CheersPaul
Question: Is the racquet 145g strung or is that the frame weight? Thanks
Answer: I have no earthly idea. Had it for a good 8 months and it's solid. Love this racquet!
Question: Is the frame weight 145 gm or does this weight include strings
Answer: Yes it comes pre-strung. It's a fantastic racket. However, I would suggest you buy spare strings because the original ones gave way in less than a month.
