13 best macgregor softballs
MacGregor is a well-known brand in the world of sports equipment, including softball. They produce a range of softball products, including slow pitch softballs. Here's what you should know about MacGregor softballs:
Variety of Softballs: MacGregor offers a variety of softballs designed for different levels of play and preferences. This includes softballs for slow pitch, fastpitch, and other variations of the game.
Slow Pitch Softballs: MacGregor slow pitch softballs are specifically designed for slow pitch softball games. These softballs are typically larger and have a lower compression rating compared to fastpitch softballs, making them suitable for the slower pace of slow pitch softball.
Construction: MacGregor slow pitch softballs are constructed using high-quality materials to ensure durability and performance. They are often made from synthetic leather or a synthetic cover with a solid core. Some may have a polyurethane or cork center for added durability and a consistent feel.
Size and Weight: Slow pitch softballs are typically larger in size compared to fastpitch softballs. They are usually 11 or 12 inches in circumference and may weigh between 6.5 and 7.5 ounces, depending on the specific league regulations and player preferences.
Compression Rating: Softball compression ratings can vary, and MacGregor offers softballs with different compression ratings to suit various playing conditions and player preferences. Lower compression softballs tend to have a softer feel and may travel farther when hit.
Usage: MacGregor slow pitch softballs are suitable for recreational and competitive slow pitch softball leagues and games. They are designed to withstand the rigors of gameplay while providing consistent performance.
Compliance with Regulations: It's essential to ensure that the MacGregor slow pitch softballs you choose comply with the regulations of the league or organization you're playing in. Different leagues may have specific requirements regarding the size, weight, and construction of softballs.
Availability: MacGregor softballs are widely available through sporting goods retailers, both online and in physical stores. You can typically find them in sets or individual balls, and they are often sold in bulk to meet the needs of teams and leagues.
When selecting MacGregor slow pitch softballs, consider factors such as your skill level, the league's regulations, and your personal preferences regarding ball size and compression rating. It's also a good idea to check the specific product details and reviews to ensure you are getting the right softball for your needs and playing conditions.

Question: | How does this comapre to the Evil ball |
Answer: | Evil balls are a bit higher quality but I used these synthetic balls for a tournament. I had expected a few days of rain, so wanted to try these. They seemed to show the dirt a bit more than the Evil balls as the game progressed but other than that, these did the job for me. |

Question: | Is the core and compression printed on each ball? And are they individually wrapped |
