Question:	What is the age compared to the size
Answer:	Small/Medium is what our 1st and 2nd graders wore this year in goal. Everyone on the team got a shot in goal and they fit everyone. The shorts were long enough that they covered their knees too, so with the shin guards there wasn't much to worry about. 3rd grade may be the limit if they are wearing their other game shorts underneath. We would just pull them up over their other gear. Kids still need to wear a cup because there is protection built in but only foam padding.
Question:	What is the thigh pad made out of? Is it foam or hard plastic inside
Answer:	Thigh pad is foam. It is not hard plastic like a football girdle. Still protects pretty well though. My 13 yr old goali son has been wearing for two seasons.
Question:	Would these offer good support for roller skating or skateboarding
Answer:	I wouldn't say "good support". For children they are fairly loose. Maybe look at baseball sliding shorts or goalkeeper shorts if you are looking for something not too bulky and to wear under. All our kids that were going into goal would put these over their game shorts. Hope that helps.

Answer:	In the quick start guide for the shear, it has a warning--in bold capital letters--to NOT cut Bamboo with this tool. The Janka hardness scale limit for the tool on engineered products is 1400, which some bamboo exceeds. Not sure what the scale is on the Bamboo engineered products compared to raw bamboo varieties, but it may be worth looking up. 1250 is the Janka limit for solid wood products when using this tool. I've been using exclusively vinyl plank and laminate products for my projects. It cuts those materials with ease and makes nice clean edges.

Answer:	This door is NOT intended to be installed without resting on a surface, unless you are prepared to make some DIY modifications. Unfortunately the seller/manufacturer does not advertise this. The only means for the door securing to the firebox is with thumb-turn tension screws, which are not suitable for supporting the weight of the door. My solution was to purchase 3 straight brackets from a hardware store and attach them to the bottom edge of the door using the two predrilled holes intended for the optional riser bar, plus an additional hole I drilled myself in the center. I fastened these brackets to the floor of my firebox using large masonry screws. My fireplace also did not meet the requirements of the included hardware to attach to the lintel bar, so I also attached the top using the included slotted bracket and masonry screws.
