13 best lacrosse head for attack
In the context of lacrosse, the head of the lacrosse stick is a critical component, especially for players in the attack position. The lacrosse head is the top part of the stick, and its design can significantly impact a player's ability to handle the ball, shoot accurately, and contribute to the overall offensive strategy. Here are some key points about lacrosse heads for attack players:
Design for Offense: Lacrosse heads designed for attack players are typically optimized for offensive maneuvers. They often feature a more pinched shape, which provides better ball control and accuracy when cradling and shooting.
Pinched Throat: The throat of the head is the part that attaches to the shaft. For attack players, a pinched throat design is common. This feature helps to enhance ball retention and provides a better feel when maneuvering the stick in tight spaces.
Narrower Face Shape: Attack heads often have a narrower face shape compared to those designed for other positions. This design allows for quick and precise ball release, which is crucial in offensive situations where split-second decisions can make a significant difference.
Scooping Ability: A good attack head should have effective scooping ability to pick up ground balls quickly. This feature is essential for maintaining possession and transitioning from defense to offense.
Stringing Options: Lacrosse heads for attack players provide various stringing options. The way a player strings their head can affect the pocket's depth and whip, influencing how the ball is released during passes and shots. Attack players often customize their stringing to suit their playing style.
Durability: While offensive players focus on finesse and accuracy, the durability of the lacrosse head is still crucial. The head should be sturdy enough to withstand regular checks and physical play without compromising its performance.
Compliance with Regulations: Lacrosse heads must meet certain regulations set by governing bodies to ensure fair play and safety. Players should check that their chosen head complies with the rules of the league or organization they are participating in.
Brands and Models: Several lacrosse equipment manufacturers offer heads specifically designed for attack players. Popular brands often have multiple models with varying features, allowing players to choose based on their preferences and playing style.
It's important for lacrosse players, especially those in the attack position, to carefully consider their playing style and preferences when selecting a lacrosse head. Trying out different heads and seeking advice from experienced players or coaches can be beneficial in finding the best fit for individual needs.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this for women’s or men’s lacrosse |
Answer: | Thanks for your question. As our PD3200Q (as well as our other display products) is designed for dedicated use with PC/desktop at your home, office or studio, we do not recommend using the monitor outside as variables, such as high humidity or critical temperature condition like what you mentioned, may have direct effect on its functionality. In case you have any further questions on this matter, please give us a call so we can assist further. Thanks! You can reach us via phone line: 1-866-600-2367. Or through our online form: http://support.benq.us Operation hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm (CST) Warm regards, BenQ Customer Care www.benq.us |
Question: | How long is this stick |
Answer: | If your Mac Mini has display port, that would be the option to use. It is a matter of whether you have standard or mini display port and connecting the right cable. As for photo work, it is a reasonable choice as it can at minimum be software calibrated. |
Question: | what size is this? Junior, Intermediate or senior |
Answer: | Hello! They are same out-of-box color accuracy with factory color calibration and individual report but different size and resolution. PD3200Q is 32"/2560x1440 and PD2700U is 27"/4K UHD 3840x2160 resolution. |
Question: | What type of mesh is the netting? Semi- hard or semi- soft |
Answer: | Beware of BenQ's dishonest sales practices. Sales Department claims it's "standard procedure" for BenQ to COVER ALL SHIPPING COSTS RELATED TO WARRANTY CLAIMS, even though the Written Warranty says the Customer is responsible for their side of the shipping costs. Company is actually quite disreputable in its sales practices overall. They upsold me on buying two of the PD2500Q when they didn't even fit my needs, completely ignoring the significantly cheaper BL2420PT that actually did. They are now forcing me to fight them to get them to accept and pay for my returns as advertised, even though it was demanded within the return window. They cost me all sorts of uncessary time and frustration figuring out that no adapters worked to provide me with full resolution coming from a DVI-D Dual Link output to the HDMI input on the monitor. Even though I was totally explicit in stating my needs, BenQ was incompetently or dishonestly failed to notify me that finding such an adapter was actually impossible, since DVI-D Dual Link requires two signals and HDMI can only accommodate one of them. |

Product description
The StringKing Complete 2 Pro is our highest performing lacrosse stick. The Attack version comes with an expertly strung pocket in our Mark 2A head and a Metal 2 Lacrosse Shaft.
- Built for Attack.
- Mark 2A -- The Mark 2A attack head gives offensive players exceptional control, quick hands, and accurate shots.
- Metal 2 -- Our performance line of aluminum alloy shafts - engineered for the elite player looking for stiffness and consistency.
- Our exclusive Surface Veil Technology is engineered to increase the overall toughness of the Dragonfly Eight
- Our proprietary 12K Intelligent Weave Technology is designed to stabilize the hands and push energy towards the head of the stick when passing or shooting
- Uniform Release provides a consistent flex profile throughout the top 2/3 of the shaft regardless of a player’s hand positioning
- We achieve flex by manipulating the orientation of the carbon fiber. Our shaft’s bend when you need it to, but retains its firmness for maximum control. Conventional shafts that tout flex often use fiberglass, a cheaper, less durable material, to increase the bendability
- Intelligent Weave allows for a more uniform construction as the carbon filaments in each tow (row) are spread out creating a thinner and more closed woven fabric providing reduced weight, optimal mechanicals and minimal voids in the composite layup. By reducing “Crimp” (when carbon fiber runs in a uniform direction(s) that is not structurally beneficial) we can decrease weight by reducing non-essential material while maintaining the structural integrity required by lacrosse

Torque Box 2
Intelligent Weave allows for a more uniform construction as the carbon filaments in each tow (row) are spread out creating a thinner and more closed woven fabric providing reduced weight, optimal mechanicals and minimal voids in the composite layup. By reducing “Crimp” (when carbon fiber runs in a uniform direction(s) that is not structurally beneficial) we can decrease weight by reducing non-essential material while maintaining the structural integrity required by lacrosse.
Lower F.A.W.
The Dragonfly utilizes unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg with a lower F.A.W. (Fiber Areal Weight) than conventional shafts. These smaller, lighter fibers allow for a tighter orientation of the carbon fiber. More fibers equals increased durability.
Slip/Grip
Highly engineered “gritty” textured topcoat, which allows for consistent grip to be maintained in all weather, while also allowing the shaft to move freely through your hands
Kick” Up Your Game.
The Dragonfly’s Uniform Release point is designed to maximize shaft performance by creating a natural kick-point or flex point just above your top hand, when shooting and passing.
Flex iQ
We achieve flex by manipulating the orientation of the carbon fiber. Our shaft’s bend when you need it to, but retains its firmness for maximum control. Conventional shafts that tout flex often use fiberglass, a less durable material, to increase the bendability. Don’t sacrifice your game, choose Epoch.
Reload Technology
When passing or shooting, a load is introduced to the shaft causing it to flex back, which causes the carbon fibers to be stretched along the front of the shaft and compressed along the back. Reload Technology takes advantage of this situation by using low F.A.W. (Fiber Areal Weight) and high-modulus carbon fiber, which creates urgency for the fibers to return to their natural position for maximum recoil
Resin
The carbon fiber pre-preg used in Epoch shafts undergoes a chemical surface treatment process to improve the mechanical “locking” (compatibility) between the fibers and the matrix resin. The result is better laminate properties of the carbon fiber. An improved laminate results in better load transfer (energy) for increased durability.
ACL
Our Advanced Carbon Layering (A.C.L.) is what separates Epoch shafts from conventional composite shafts. By layering low F.A.W., uni-directional carbon fiber pre-preg in a specific manner we can control several aspects of the shaft’s performance, including flex, durability, weight and release point.
- MADE IN THE USA: The Dragonfly Elite is made in America with pride; With access to the world’s best engineers, raw materials and the latest manufacturing processes. Epoch continues to lead the development of technology in the lacrosse by designing, engineering, manufacturing in-house
- POWER FLEX iQ4XL: Our shaft’s bend when you need it to, but retains its firmness for maximum control; You’re a versatility player who needs extra mass when playing both offense and defense; You can play defense, shoot on the run or stand and rip a step-down shot; Don't sacrifice your game, choose Epoch
- VERSATILITY ON THE FIELD: The Dragonfly Elite Attack/Midfield is the ideal carbon fiber shaft for offensive-minded players who want versatility on the field; Engineered with Epoch’s core technologies and also one of the lightest composite lacrosse shafts on the market, it offers the benefits at a remarkably affordable value

- 1 YEAR WARRANTY: Apart from the core technologies featured when you choose our attack/midfield lacrosse shaft, Epoch offers a 1-year warranty on all of their Dragonfly Elite shafts
User questions & answers
