Answer:	depends on the height of the 16 yr old from edge of blade to top of stick is about 54inches I use my as a show piece I do not use it to play I think it’s not made good enough for outside use

With your right “power” arm and stronger hand lower lower the stick; for example, so when you are going to make those power shots... ie; slap shots, you can get in as much power as you can get behind it, your strong dominate hand and shoulder.

Answer:	They're made pretty solid, I wouldn't recommend modifying them without risking their effect. Look up slider plates too, they're usually smaller profile and more versatile in where you can place them. Good luck!
