Answer:	You're right, they have very little tint. I'd be surprised if they have protection from the sun. My daughter only used them three times before the clasp in the back broke. Good design idea, poor execution.

Answer:	vista jr is a sleeker version of the seal. vista jr will cover less of the face. i purchased the vista jr, seal kid and the kayenee jr for my kids, (8 and 6) and the seal kid fits the best.

Answer:	Julia, yes the goggles are good for a 5 year old. I have a four and five year old and they wore them every day for five weeks this past February and they held up great.
