Answer:	I would say no, its rubbery, not hard.. My son wears it for lacrosse, but he wears a helmet too

Answer:	Once the water is boiled remove it from the heat and drop the mouthguard in for 15 seconds. Remove the mouthguard and form it around your teeth and gums. If needed the mouthguard can be remolded up to 10 times to get the perfect fit, as long as it is not over heated. If it is over heated it will shrink and deform.

Answer:	No, it is not silicone. It is an FDA approved synthetic compound that is used in many surgical procedures. If you are inquiring due to possible allergic reactions… It is highly unlikely you will experience any reactions which is why the material is used in the medical industry. Answer:	I actually bought it for myself to eliminate snoring, but a little too small. But being in the martial arts for many years, YES it will work!!

Answer:	The Kid's Comfort PRO does not come with a case. However, you can contact the manufacturer to obtain a case. Or you can purchase the Denta-Gard from your Dentist and it will come with a case. Fitting instructions

1 Fill saucepan with 3 to 4 inches of water ,Bring water till boil .

2 Remove water from heat source . Let water stand for 30 seconds , then place mouthguard in water for 30 seconds.

3 Carefully remove mouthguard from water with slotted spoon .

4 cool mouthguard under tap water for 1-2 seconds only to bring surface temperature to comfortable level .

5 Lick your lips before placing mouthguard in your mouth.

6 Watching in a mirror , line up mouthguard carefully with the center line of upper teeth Fit mouthguard onto and around upper teeth and press firmly into molars first then front teeth.

7 Bring lower jaw forward and up into base of mouthguard with teeth in alignment with lower channel. Bite down hard on mouthguard ,suck in strongly ,

and use fingers to press edges of mouthguard into teeth and gum line through lips and cheeks for 20 seconds.

8 remove mouthgurad and cool under tap water for 30 seconds.

9 repeat steps 1 through 8 if fit is not accurate.

Question:	I have a 9 year old should I get the adult or youth size
Answer:	Do you have an underbite and you’re trying to fit it for your bottom teeth? If you do then I wouldn’t know the answer to that. However, like most mouth guards, it’s meant to fit your upper teeth. Since, in average, most people have their upper jaw protruding a little pass their bottom jaw, this mouth guard would essentially protect both top and bottom teeth. Of course, you would need to have your teeth in a “bite-down” position if you were to get hit in the mouth.
Question:	How thick is this guard in mm? Will it work for a child who still has baby teeth
Answer:	Yes we are in our second season for both football & baseball. My sons a catcher & he can communicate great! I highly recommend.

Answer:	I have. They do not work well for boxing. There are two major issues. First is that they don't absorb impact very well, not much to bite down on and second is all the holes in them cut up the insides of my lips. Even a jab from a 120-130 lbs were causing cuts. I've tried a few other mouthguards since (only one I remember is the Venum one) and can say with the utmost confidence to get a custom fit one (impact/gladiator). They make a world of difference. They stay in and its so much easier to breathe. Yes, it does cost a bit more but I feel it's the single piece of equipment that has the biggest effect on performance.

Answer:	I don't know, but I wouldn't think so. It is pretty rigid and I would think it would bend the metal.

Question:	My daughter does jujitsu. Will this work
Answer:	No. This mouthgard is for the top teeth only. I suppose you could wear it facing down, but it is designed for one row of teeth (with space for braces). My teenage son used this for boxing, wrestling and Jiu Jitsu with no teeth, tongue or lip injury. Make sure you buy the correct size, there is an adult and youth version. The youth version was too small for him when he was 13.
