Answer:	Any ceiling joist would support the maximum 66 lbs that it is calling for. In fact, if you go up in your attic and step onto the joist, you will not fall. I am 180 lbs and I often go to the attic stepping on each joists one at a time and they hold me just fine. The TV will be just fine. The important thing is to make sure that the lag bolt hits the ceiling joist and not just through the sheetrock. The sheetrock will not hold anything by itself.

Answer:	No. Find a support beam in your ceiling and mount to it. It has been the perfect ceiling mount for me. No complaints at all.

Answer:	without modification, this will not allow you to hang close to the ceiling. I am 5' 9" tall and my 52 inch tv's bottom is at waist level at its highest adjustment. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	I mounted a 50" Samsung to my ceiling mount - it fit and worked perfically.

Answer:	It should. I have it installed through a drop ceiling as well but it is connected horizontally to a crossbeam. I seem to remember that the end swivel did swing completely 90 degrees with the swivel plate being completely parralle to the mount tube itself. I would contact the manf.

Answer:	Spin the collar with the ridges at the end of the main post to the left and right to loosen and tighten for extension and retraction.

Answer:	The unit comes with 3 different sized mounting bolts to fit a variety of models. Not sure though if that model specific will fit. Best guess: Probably?
Question:	This is certainly less of an eye sore than others, but is the protection equivalent to a four "prong" style mount
Answer:	I assume this question is related to how you're going to secure the base mount to your ceiling. In my case, my ceiling was a very old sheetrock material. The 4 mounting screws and plastic inserts did not work on my sheetrock. However, if you go to Home Depot and purchase a bag of 1/8 in. x 2 in. Zinc-Plated Toggle Bolt with Mushroom-Head Phillips Drive Screw (4-Pieces) for a cost of about $2.24 this will more than adequately secure the base mount to your ceiling and hold the weight of this video projector. Each of the mushroom-head phillips screws is rated to hold a weight of 25 lbs. So, multiple 4 x 25 and you'll see they can easily hold up this light video projector.
