Be careful, if you throw one and it hits another one or a hard something they can snap right in half..good luck! |

You could strap it to your leg, but with walking or running I think it would slide down. They don't have a lot of weight to them. I don't think they would have any power beyond 15-20 feet. | Answer: | They do stick well and are thick, so they should be able to take the abuse from throwing them. They are small. That makes them harder to throw by a grown-up than bigger knives IMHO. They do not have a sharp edge--which is what you would want from a throwing knife anyway, as if you throw them by holding the blade, you would be far more comfortable holding a blade that is not sharp. The tip is very sharp. |

As far as blades for beginners, the heavier the blade, the easier it is for a learner to learn the balance & rotation for the throw. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | i checked from the center of the knives' overall length and found that when balanced at that point the throwers each fell toward the handle meaning the design is HANDLE HEAVY. after repeat testing i found the balance point to be between 1/8th and 1/4 inch closer to the handle side than blade side. the uneven distribution of weight and the non-traditional shape means the knife behaves a little differently than the typical thrower but it is easy to get used to and in my opinion gives them unique character, which is fun. |
