Answer:	No it will not be sturdy enough. The bottom and top of the beam are not the same size. The bottom is flat and wider so it will be sturdy on the floor when opened but the top is narrower so when you fold it and place on the floor it will tip.

Answer:	My 10 year old daughter does cartwheels and back walkovers on it all the time and it stays put on the ground.

Answer:	It depends on your size. So my littles ones i teach do fine on it. But if I or my high school helper steps on it the other end lifts up and can shift. So I'd be worried that the force of your push off backwards could move it and then the beam wouldn't be were its needs to be to land your hands. You probaby need something with more weight to it. I think its great for practicing handstands and walk overs.

Answer:	Well depends what you mean by good. It's very light and very small in diameter around but it still is 4 feet long so as long as you don't mind the length. I will say though you really need 2 imo to make it worth while.
Question:	how many would you recommend buying
Answer:	I bought this for my 10 yr old granddaughter last year for Christmas. (She is actually upstairs on it right now!!). I would definitely buy 2! They velcro together and separate easily. She needs the longer length to practice her cartwheels (which she can now do on the beam at gymnastics, 85% due to her being able to practice at home). I would not have been as satisfied (and I don't think she would have either) with just one short 4' section. Hope this helps!

Answer:	It's a foam balance beam. I'm 115lbs and would like for it to be more firm. I find it very useful, but a little squishy for doing cartwheels, etc. It does not feel like a real balance beam at the gym. However, it's super convenient and for the price I can't complain.

Answer:	Probably not, unless you are going to purchase about 2 or 3 to connect together or unless the 14 year old is very petite. I purchased this for a 10 year old and got 2 in order to give her enough length to begin and end a tumbling move while still on the device.

What are the directions to apply

It comes with instructions I did the small stars first to get the hang of it It says to tape the top to wall, lift and pull the paper (it’s like wax paper) away from the decals on the paper they are stuck to I eventually stopped taping to wall and just pulled (slowly and carefully) the back off the lettering (decals) I pressed the decals to the wall via the paper they were stuck to, and used my fingernail to rub them into to the wall. Hope that makes sense. Used pressure from my nail to unstick from the decal paper to the wall...

Question:	is this lead and phthalate free
Answer:	I have this model. I bought it based on the 10-Star ratings I found when I did online research. So far I've never had a surge or spike that activated mine. You obviously bought one that did. If the User Manual that came with it didn't show how to reset, you might want to contact their Customer Service (1-877-800-4272) or Technical Support (1-800-555-2725). If these number's aren't current, then go to their website and click on Contact. This company has been around since 1981, and their longevity gives creedence to the quality of their products. I hope my comments helped.
Question:	What material is the foam made out of
Answer:	Yeah I measure 2" from the wall including my wall plate. There is a slight gap and the unit is about 1-5/8". I took a picture but don't know where to post it.

Answer:	From instructions (you do NOT remove the outlet cover, only the screw):Locate the screw hole in the center of the surge protector. Remove the screw from the wall outlet plate. Plug the unit into the wall outlet and secure it using the screw supplied in the package.
