I will say that I had to exchange my first one (average horse size) for a cob size because it was far too big for my 950-1000lb TWH-Islandic cross. I get many compliments on it! I have never experienced any rubbing and/or marks on the nose from it either. I'm very happy with mine, and would buy again. As for the horse, he can't talk but he seems to like it.
