Answer:	All you need is an air pump with a needle. It's the same as filling a basketball. I used a handheld basketball pump and you can buy a needle for a couple dollars usually in a pack of three at anywhere that sells sports equipment.

Answer:	From the top to the bottom and from side to side. BUT, they sizes listed rarely equal the ratings given. And different manufacturers will have bags listed as a 5x8 or a 6x9 etc. and they may not even be close in size to each other.

Answer:	I started with a larger bag when I was 13 (1943). It must have been an 8" X !1" which apparently is now known as a "military bag". It is still my favorite size although I do have a couple of 10" bags which appear to be much more popular. Answer:	No these are not meant for mitt work, these are for the punchers, to serve the punches, not for the trainers, to receive the punches. these are for the trainees, not the trainers.

Answer:	I bought them to hit a heavy bag and turns out they’re really not padded enough for any extended hitting. However, they might work just right for a speed bag. We don’t have a speed bag at our gym.

Answer:	I put sand in the bottom of mine, plus some air. I then filled the middle and top compartments with air and it stands up straight for us. After some use, I have to put more air in those two sections, but it'll straighten up again - try putting more air in the lower portion (just above where you put your water). Ours doesn't move around on the floor at all - we have it on hardwood. The portion that you punch is very responsive with ours.
