Answer:	No, not now and probably never as long as the rubber is white. Since the ball is white, this will interfere with visual interpretation of ball contact by the opponent. It would be highly unlikely that ITTF would ever approve a white rubber. So OK for recreational play, but this paddle would not be allowed in any sanctioned tournaments or leagues.

I tried alternative rackets by Joola and other brands that suited me better. They have either medium-hard or hard rubber (the 900 rubber is soft).

Answer:	You will need to remove the plastic film from each paddle before the game. This film keeps the rubber tacky and elastic before the first use, prevents stickiness. Since the rubber surface is made from a natural material, sometimes it collects a little bit of dust in a dusty environment. Please remember, the dust on the paddle surface won't affect your game. This is not the paddles' or rubber defect. The dust will go away after several rounds of play. The rubber's tackiness means the high-quality premium rubber. We use the best rubber available on the market. Most players appreciate the spin it gives. After a literally couple of strikes, the paddles will be fine. Tackiness is needed to spin the ball while playing for more interesting and professional feel game. To clean the paddle surface from the dust or if you want to make rubber less tacky (not recommended because the paddle can lose the ability to spin ping pong ball well), you'll need to wipe the paddle 's rubber surface with regular wipes or with a damp cloth. Keeping your ping pong paddle clean is one way to keep its tackiness, but it will also lengthen the life of the paddle. No matter if you decide to use a special cleaner, just water, and a sponge, or one of the other concoctions, they will help create a tackiness that allows for just the right amount of spin from your paddle. If it is a sticky ping pong paddle, the ball grips onto it. Drop a ping pong ball on the rubber. If the bounce of the ball is low, the rubber is still tacky. Answer:	Top players change the rubber on their bats every month, depending on how often they practice. Intermediate players who may play a couple of times a week may change their rubber every three months. Top-rated rubber, such as Tenergy, is very expensive. Two pieces of Tenergy cost about $140. So, most players do not change the rubber any more often than they have to. Check Youtube for directions about removing rubber and gluing new rubber. It is not a difficult procedure and will become easier after you have done it once or twice. This advice is for top and intermediate players who practice frequently. People who only play once or twice a month may not need to ever change their rubber.
