Question:	Does the box give weight of the horseshoes and the length and diameter of the stakes
Answer:	I don't remember, but My recommendation is not to buy these. First time using them, when one shoe hit another on the ground, shoe broke.
Question:	How do you get stakes in the ground
Answer:	You will need to buy a Horseshoe Stake Shovel (sold separately). Mark the spot on the stake where you want ground level to be. Then purchase a Horseshoe Stake Measuring Device (sold separately). Measure the length from the pointy tip of the stake to the mark you made. Then, using the Horseshoe Stake Shovel, start digging. Measure often, using the Horseshoe Stake Measuring Device, because if you dig it too deep, you'll have to cover up the hole, and start again. Anyhoo, once you reach the exact depth as determined by the Horseshoe Stake Measuring Device, STOP DIGGING. You will now need to purchase a Horseshoe Hole Filler (sold separately). This looks like the Horseshoe Stake Shovel, but don't be fooled; it is very different, because it costs more and is a different color. At this point, you will need to place the stake in the hole, being careful to balance it so that it doesn't tip over. Start gently, very gently filling the hole with dirt, using the Horseshoe Hole Filler, and being careful not to tip the balanced stake over. Continue filling the hole until the ground is level. Then, when tomorrow gets here, you can measure the proper distance from the first stake to the desired location of the second stake, and repeat the process, remembering to do this one left-handed, and counterclockwise.

Answer:	We had the same experience since this product is so poorly made. We had our new Champion horseshoes out of their case for less than 20 minutes before two of them broke in half. There are a lot of other options available on the web that have solid steel horseshoes, and I would highly recommend those instead of trying to replace these with more of the same. Good luck

Answer:	I don't see this as an indoor game but, it would depend on what your game room flooring is. These are made of wood and outdoors we throw to roll. I guess you could make the rules roll only.

Question:	Does this set (2016) include the new and improved carrying case that fits the expansion set
Answer:	The 2016 carrying case is the exact same size as the previous versions. There are a couple improvements like stitching and material. Many customers have told us when they remove the cardboard separators of if they stack the goals they can fit an expansion pack in the carrying case as well. If you ordered both and do not feel they comfortably fit we'd be more than happy to send you an additional bag for free. Just email us at [email protected]. We still plan to develop a larger size carrying case in the future. With that being said, we have new expansion pack colors coming in this week (Black/Gray, Orange/Purple, Yellow/Green). Answer:	It's not necessary to play Rollors. The Rollors game comes with 3 blue disks (i.e. Rollors) and 3 red disks. The expansion pack will give you additional individual/team colors for the Rollors game. As far as fitting in the original carry case, it will fit in there if you take out the cardboard separators. For future reference we have plans to develop a larger bag/case with a shoulder strap.

Question:	Are there thumb caulks on these
Answer:	Yes there are, however I broke a shoe on the first day and opted for the American style shoe from St Pierre as they are a bit heavier. I know the break was probably dumb luck, but decided the heavier shoe suited me better. BTW the American shoe also has caulks.
Question:	It says it's official size & weight but official weight is at least 2 lb each and it says total weight is only 6 lbs. How is that
Answer:	Official rule states the weight shall not exceed 2lbs 10oz I - EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS Section A - Sanctioned Horseshoes (also see diagram on page 44) All horseshoe designs and prototypes must be approved and sanctioned by the NHPA before the shoes they represent 36 can officially be manufactured and used in NHPA sanctioned competition . The maximum weight and measurement standards are as follows: The horseshoe weight shall not be more than two (2) pounds, ten (10) ounces (there is no minimum weight) . No horseshoe can exceed seven and one-quarter inches (7-1/4”) in width or seven and five-eighths inches (7-5/8”) in length . The opening of the shoe must not exceed three and one-half inches (3-1/2”), measured from a parallel line three-fourths of an inch (3/4”) inward from a straightedge touching the tips of the shoe points . (A one- eighth inch (1/8”) tolerance to three and five-eighths inches (3-5/8”) is allowed on used shoes) No part of any horseshoe shall exceed one inch (1”) in height when placed, with calks down, on a level surface . Shoes not meeting these requirements shall be declared “illegal” . Illegal shoes shall not be used in any NHPA sanctioned competition and all games pitched with illegal shoes shall be forfeited . All horseshoes used by a pitcher may be checked at any time, before or during competition, to verify that they are legal shoes . A judge or other Tournament/League Official will do this checking .
