Question:	we just received this a week ago and assembled it. The pole seems lose and we are having a hard time screwing it tight enough so that the pole is secure and does not move. Any suggestions
Answer:	Make sure you have the disk/flange underneath the base seated correctly. Once it is seated you should be able to tighten it up and it won't move any more. From time to time we have to tighten ours up after a month or two of play. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No it's not. I thought it was, too. But look at the very top, flat part of the pump handle (the part you would hold if you were pumping something up). There is a little round tab that you pull open. Mine had a little yellow sticker over top the tab. Remove the sticker and pull the tab up. The needle is stored in the pump's handle to prevent loss or damage during shipping.

Had to make sure connections were proper to light the light and then activate chimes but has been in operation over 2 years and works like new. Only issue was to be careful with screws provided ... they are not very strong. But drilled small starter holes and careful install went fine. A nice product.

Answer:	This base can support a 9 foot umbrella. If it gets too windy, simply close the umbrella.

Answer:	The base comes with plastic inserts that allow for a 1" pole or a 1 1/2" pole. Without the inserts it will hold a 2" pole. I am using the insert for the 1 1/2" pole and it is working just fine.

Answer:	I would imagine the size of your umbrella would make a big difference, but I tried it for a 9 foot umbrella and it is not steady at all in light breezes and blows over pretty readily with just about any small gust.
