Answer:	the 2 piece is actually a little larger diameter at 1-5/8" vs the 3 piece 1-1/2" The larger diameter a tube the stronger its rigidity to bending.

Answer:	I think we had the 2 or 3 piece and it started to bend shortly after we purchased it. My husband went to the hardware store and bought a galvanized steel pole and attached the thether to that.
Question:	Can you use an umbrella stand to hold the pole
Answer:	In my opinion it would need to be a really heavy umbrella stand. We put my grandson's in a tire with cement. When the kids hit that ball around at breakneck speed it's got to have enough weight at the bottom to keep it from tipping or falling over. You could try the umbrella stand and if it doesn't work I'd recommend a tire/cement. Like an umbrella stand you can move it anywhere in the yard as needed.

Answer:	Unfortunately sections are not interchangeable. The top section must stay at the top, and the bottom section must stay at the bottom.

Answer:	No it's not. I thought it was, too. But look at the very top, flat part of the pump handle (the part you would hold if you were pumping something up). There is a little round tab that you pull open. Mine had a little yellow sticker over top the tab. Remove the sticker and pull the tab up. The needle is stored in the pump's handle to prevent loss or damage during shipping.

Answer:	The Rope is junk and yes you can cut it off and replace it when it breaks. The ball is soft, but if your dog is much of a chore he will probably bite through it quickly. I was not happy with the overall quality of the ball or rope.
