Question:	Is the rope replaceable? Does the ball have a soft feeling, so it won't knock my dog out
Answer:	The Rope is junk and yes you can cut it off and replace it when it breaks. The ball is soft, but if your dog is much of a chore he will probably bite through it quickly. I was not happy with the overall quality of the ball or rope.

Question:	Can you leave it out in the rain
Answer:	I leave mine outside year round so it's ready to play anytime. Doing this does shorten lifespan of ball as the soft layer is basically foam rubber. Just plan on replacing every 2 years. You might get 3, maybe 4 years if you store when not in use but then it's not ready to play when kids are. It really is the best tetherball I've found and will probly buy another when needed.
