Answer:	I used standard drill bits - starting with a small pilot hole and then a couple more holes going a bit larger each time. The material is soft enough that it can be "threaded" onto a steel gear shift lever, so make sure your final drill bit diameter is a bit smaller than the threads on the steel shaft. Good luck.
