Answer:	This strap is made in China. I prefer USA made products but in this case the strap is rated high enough to handle my wife's little Honda Fit. We are volunteer First Responders and sometimes get ourselves into situation that require getting pulled out of the mud. Mine is still in the blister pack so I haven't tested it but think it will work just fine. I hope that helps.
