Answer:	If you can afford a carving jack why would you even consider buying this ??? don't get me wrong it's a good little knife for the money but it's bulky and not ergonomic at all your hand will hurt after a wile and the blades don't lock like the carving jack . You'll have to sharpen it to your liking ,but I rather loose a $ 25 knife in the woods than a $140 any day of the week. over all it's not a bad little knife once is sharpened

Answer:	This is sad. I am 63 years old and remember when "Schrade" and "Uncle Henry" were brand names of knives you were PROUD to own and showed off to all your friends. Fortunately I do still have one old 'Uncle Henry" old enough to be of good quality. I recall sharpening a knife (Uncle Henry) for our Sgt and when he cut himself with it the doctor (took 12 stitches inside & out to sew him up) said it looked like he had been cut with a scalpel. I bet you couldn't get one of these new knives that sharp.

Answer:	To all those complaining about the blades not locking, a blade lock was developed to keep a knife from closing when it is used to stab, like a folding skinner going through thick hide at the start of a cut (which is the wrong way to start that cut, too, by the way). If you are using this tool in any way that causes the blades to close on your fingers, you don't know how to use the tool, and you're looking for a hardware fix for a training deficiency. Stop blaming the tool and fix your ignorance. Nobody is born knowing how to use a carving knife, or any other type of knife, any more than they're born knowing how to use a hammer, saw, drill, gun, stove, oven, or jackhammer, and you shouldn't expect to expertly use a tool until you've spent some time learning how to.

Answer:	The whole length is just over 9 inches.The blade is just over 4 and 3/4 inches.

Answer:	It does not say on the knife where it was made so I would guess it was made in the USA.

Answer:	Its strange... But its almost a hybrid knife in a way. Its sort of a Self defense/edc/throwing/ knife. Now it may be a LITTLE unpractical but due from my experience with blades you can use this guy for just about anything.

Question:	I got the the 2 pack and one of them has a defective compass. What do you recommend me to do
Answer:	No, not according to DHS.
Question:	Does the bracelet come as fire proof and how much of a chance is there that it will start a fire on my rist
Answer:	We usually don't replace the battery.Since the battery and the LED light are an accessory that is connected together. If you want to replace the battery,then you need to replace LED light and the battery at the same time, it is complicated. The battery on the survival bracelet can last for more than 70 hrs, it usually enough for using in the wild emergency
Question:	Has anybody actually been able to start a fire using this firestarter
Answer:	Yes, but the certification of the LED, Compass and Thermometer has no official guarantee. The Thermo and Compass seem sealed well enough as they have no exposed adjustments. The LED has a small hole when opened. It is closed/sealed by the cap-pull on the T-Knife when buckled. If that cap is missing, the seal is with your skin and the bottom of the LED portion. The metal tools, including Ferro rod, are sealed away via the buckle so they will not be lost, but as for exposure to water long term, that is something in would check and dry after exposure. So that is the best I can say for "waterproof".

Question:	HOW bright is it compared to a normal flashlight
Answer:	Really bright. Compare to a normal flashlight this light is 10x stronger and has helped amazingly. I was helping a friend on the side of the road his car broke down and the shoulder of the highway was very small. There was little light and some moderate traffic. Using the flashlight i attached it to the back of my vehicle and warn other drivers coming. Using the strobe setting. Later a policeman arrived and told me the light was so bright he thought i was a roadside service person.

Question:	What blade grind is this?, like is it flat, or hollow or scandi etc
Answer:	Appears to be a full flat grind, mine was well finished with a nice bevel on the spine, tang and lanyard hole. Would say its worth it's price.
Question:	Can the sheath be setup to wear horizontally
Answer:	Yep, you can use the tek lok knock off it comes with or purchase some pull the dots for a closer more comfortable attachment. Side note, sheath has basically perfect retention in my opinion, it's crisp If that makes sense.
Question:	Is this sheath compatable with molle gear
Answer:	It can be. The mole loop needs to be 3 inches wide and 2 inches in height for a nice snug fit. I have my health on a backpack with the molle system. The 3 inches wide so the clasping part of the sheath fits down into it and the 2 inches height so that when the sheaths locking system closes, it can catch onto the mole loop.
