Answer:	This particular pepper spray has a Stream spray. I went with the stream in case there happens to be wind to try and keep as much from blowing back at me in case I do need to use it. It also reaches slightly further than cone or fog. Although cone is great at close range.

Answer:	Ditto all the parents in here. "Can my toddler discharge this?" was literally my first thought. The point of the pepper spray is to have it accessible. That's going to end up balanced against the need to keep it away from curious hands. Knowing there's a backup mechanism to keep it safe and further lower the probability of accidental discharge is pretty key to the target demo of a brightly colored pepper spray canister. -- I'm buying one, but will return if I don't think the protection is sufficient.

Having said that, I have noticed a different issue with my Sabre Red Pepper Spray.I purchased my product about 9 months ago and the safety mechanism will turn and unlock itself resulting in small leaks. This is very dangerous and needs to be recalled and corrected. I bought several for my sister's and theirs have done the same. Although I was a big fan, I warn you not to purchase this product until t;e safety mechanism has been tweaked to be more secure.

Answer:	Matte. Its a nice heavier material and its HUGE. Best ones I've ever had, highly recommend. Its white so darker/brighter/red haircolors that bleed after being shampooed/towel dried may stain the cape...some wash out but some left a slight stain even with bleach or oxyclean. Mine still lasted a year or more before too dingy to use and I replaced them.

Answer:	Yes.. they can get very hot.. the longer you heat in the microwave the hotter they get. I start my neck wrap at 2 minutes.. but try 2 1/2 and go up 30 secs until you find what you can stand... but be careful as you could burn yourself... your skin can get red after long. but we reheat again and again... many many uses we love ours!

Answer:	Amazon shipped it to me in CA but I have tried to place other orders for SABRE and got this message. It has been hit or miss. You can order directly from SABRE and they will ship it to you. It's legal if it holds no more than 2.5 ounces and is marked for self defense. I believe this is an issue with the shipper or method of shipment.
Question:	Does the locking method ever fail and accidentally discharge
Answer:	The locking top on this product features an enhanced safety system. Even if the unit us unlocked it takes a purposefull push to discharge the unit. My mother carries her Sabre Keychain spray unlocked and in her purse. We have never had an issue with accidental firing. The twist lock safety has been used on defense sprays for decades. I like that when locked the nozzle is blocked and it helps keep lint and debris out of the nozzle.
