Answer:	The scope is a 3-9x40 with both windage and elevation adjustments. It also comes with dust cover. I have found it to be a pretty good scope for the price of this package.

Answer:	It does come with a speed loader which holds about 100 BBS. The rifle also comes with a very small bag of BBs, just toss them to the side. They are maybe .12 gram and are no where near accurate.

Answer:	Don't own a Cortez, but I used this with a Primary Arm Red dot. If your Red Dot mounts onto a rail it should mount on this riser.

Answer:	From what I've read on Ruger's site, the Mini 14 Tactical model has the typical proprietary scope mount notches machined into the receiver, as all their "ranch rifles" have for some time now. Those only accept the rings that should have been included with your rifle. However, the receiver is also drilled and tapped, and a Picatinny rail is also included with the rifle. If you install that Picatinny rail to the receiver, then you can use these risers, or anything else that mounts to a Picatinny rail. If you bought the rifle used, then you can probably obtain any Picatinny rail of proper length and screw hole placement. Just measure the distance between the holes. It's probably industry standard, unlike the scope mount notches.

Answer:	I honestly don't know what to tell you; I have a vertical grip hung off mine that extends beyond the off-set's length, and I haven't had an issue/ I suppose you could buy 2 and mount them next to each other if you're worried about contiguous mounting for the sight.

Answer:	Some of these answers seem to not quite understand how geometry works. If you are looking at the face of a clock at 12, the little hand is directly in line with the center. Now look at the same clock at 3. The small hand is still directly in line with the center. Simply rotate the clock 90 degrees and you will see that the small hand looks exactly like it did at 12. Now pick any point on the clock and you will see that it is the same no matter how much you rotate it. Every number can be moved to the 12 position. Any two points anywhere in existence, if connected, form a straight line. Just imagine one point as the center and imagine the other point as a number on a clock. Connect those points with a line. Your line is the little hand. From that reference, draw a clock and you will see, once again, the number and the center are in line. Now draw a line between your 2 sights. Imagine the center bore line. Are they parallel? If so, rotate the gun about the bore axis until the line connecting the 2 sights is in the 12 position. Once again, the line connecting the two sights is parallel to, and centered over, the bore axis. As far as physics and geometry are concerned, there is no difference between any arbitrary rotational orientations of the gun. Now, if you are calculating POINT OF IMPACT, then, yes offset sights are different. The recoil of the gun remains orienteded with the 12 position. No matter how much you rotate, angle the gun, point it in the air, or at your foot, the gun will recoil around a horizontal axis perpendicular to the bore axis and centered somewhere around the top of the grip. The bullet will always exit the barrel in the plane containing the 12 position and the point just above the grip around which the gun rotates in recoil. Canting to 45° will cause the bullet to fly up and to the left. Adjust your point of aim accordingly. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Not sure about this one, but all the 45 offsets will depend on how think the optic is. Nature of the rifle. The Josiah Burks person who answered obviously does not know what a Sub 2000 is or how it folds based on the way he answered. It doesn’t fold to the side, it folds end over end.
