Answer:	With the sun shade, it's 10.25" long.. I always use the sun shade, due to lighting conditions where I shoot..

Answer:	Im really picky, and while this scope offered EVERYTHING I needed, they dont go into detail of exact reticle sizes... the reticle to me is WAY too large. At 50 yards the 'cross' area is like .5" wide at 9x. AT 50! so at 600 thats half the width of a face. TiborasaurusRex (youtube) goes over the effective range of the .223"/5.56mm regardless of scope.
Question:	Do I need a risor mount for this scope on my AR- 15 M&P model
Answer:	I put a 1" Monstrum riser rail on my S&W M&P 15 Sport 2. The biggest problem was to get the proper eye relief for the scope, I had to mount the scope all the way to the rear of the top rail. That works but it makes pulling the charge handle a pretty tight maneuver.
Question:	There have been complaints of a misaligned reticle, has anyone experienced or heard of this
Answer:	Mine is slightly off, perhaps 2-3 degrees. some have complained about that will cause elevation or windage adjustments to change too. Yes, that is correct to a point. Let's stay that worse case scenario, the turrets and reticle were canted 45 degrees off from each other. That would mean any elevation or windage would equally effect both. But for every 1 degree, that would only result in 1/45 of a change in the other. that equates to .02" for every inch of elevation/windage. So if the scope has 1/2" per click adjustment at 100 yards, One click of windage/elevation would result in (unwanted) .01" in elevation/windage movement with a reticle that was canted 1 degree off. Even at 5 degrees, that is still only .05" (1.2mm) at 100 yards. The point is if that small of an offset really matters to anyone, they should not be buying a $90 scope in the first place.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend this product. Mine failed after only 32 rounds on a 6.5 creedmore, which is very low recoil and, as a bolt action PRS, doesn't get banged around like an MSR would.

Answer:	This is an amazing scope. Like the others have said handling a 416 rigby and a 338 win mag itll hold up to the 7.62x39 for sure. I know ur thinking probably about the continual jarring of a semi automatic but this scope holds up just fine. Best thing is u cant go wrong with vortexes warranty. I have two a 2-7x32 on my 375 HH, and a 3-9x40 on my .30.06, and only had one issue on the 3-9x40 from a shooting trip after i got it home i guess it got knocked around too hard and there was like dirt inside of the glass. I called vortex they sent me a sgipping label and said well fix it ir replace it and in a week or two i got my scope back good as new. I love vortex the scopes are great, and the customer service cant be beat.

Answer:	The scope does not come with flip up scope covers. I purchased Butler Creek ones and they work great. For the eye piece go with size 14-15-16 (their sizing is weird) and for the objective go with 13-15. They work great and I have no complaints.

Question:	How can you tell if this is authentic or a counterfeit? If they are made in Oregon why does it take 1 to 2 months to arrive
Answer:	I have never personally seen a knock off Leupold. However, I have been told they all have the same serial number (that number is unknown to me), and the lettering on the gold ring is "sloppy". I'm going to a major gun show this weekend, may know more on Monday. Leupold does not sell direct, except for special orders through their custom shop. A typical scope goes through a distributor, then a retailer.
Question:	So these are authentic Leupolds? If I have problems and send it back to the factory, they with honor lifetime warranty
Answer:	All authentic Leupold products are backed by our legendary warranty, but make sure sure the seller listed as one of our authorized retailers. There are unauthorized retailers selling on the Amazon market place and we therefore can not say with certainty that they are selling authentic Leupold products. If a price is too good to be true or the seller is name you don't recognize there is a good chance they are not an authorized Leupold retailer.
Question:	How is this scope on close range once sighted as directed? I am reading a lot about it needing to be on 9 zoom. Too much for 25yds
Answer:	I cited mine in at 50 and it worked great out to 150. It is designed to be cited in at any power and then you dial it in for the load that you are using.
Question:	What kind of cross hair does it come with
Answer:	Hi, It's set up for a 50 yard zero with slugs in a shotgun, or balls in a muzzle loader. Then there are two small circles below the horizontal reticle for 75 yards, and 100 yards. It seems just approximate, but the idea is sound. I like it. The Leupold website shows the reticle. Thunder runner
