By experimenting, and also reading the manual, I found out that the heater doesn't have a thermostat that turns the heater off after reaching a set temperature. It can run from 25 C to 32C (77 F to 89 F) in adjustable steps. The heater also has a run timer of 2, 4, 6 hours or continuous. The heat can be turned off and run it like a fan. What I liked about it is the remote control, unusual for such a small heater.

Question:	can you use led light bulbs in this
Answer:	There are enough pieces and parts to the light you should be able to make it work. When you look at the light in the photo, the inch and a half 'top' part IS the electric box. If you have a box in the ceiling after you remove your ceiling light, you can run the wires into the lamp 'top' and screw the lamp 'top' into the existing electric box. The two 'ears' you see in the photo should like up with the existing metal box and you can screw this lamp into your existing box. This should work. I used my lights in new construction so I did not have an existing metal electric box to work with, I just used the box on the 'top' of the lamp. For some reason, this is becoming kind of difficult to explain. But in short, the lamp provides its own metal box and you might have to do a bit of mild jury-rigging to make it work with your existing metal box, but it should. Sorry I can' be clearer.
Question:	Does it leave a shadow from the metal casing with a bright bulb
Answer:	I'm not an electrician but with a dimmable bulb and a dimmable light switch yes it would work fine. The fixture has nothing to do with it being dimmable or not. Hope that Helps. But it is a GREAT fixture. I have several of them outside.

Answer:	Certainly, as long as the 12V bulb fits a standard 110 V bulb socket, which they do make. You can check automotive parts shop for this type of bulb, which is used in drop lights. Or you will have to have an adaptor from the 12 V bulb base you have to a standard 110 V base.
Question:	Is it possible to make the fixture have motion sensor
Answer:	No, there's no switch. You'll need an external switch. We wired several of these together with a proximity switch that turns it on when someone walks by and turns them off after a set time.
