Answer:	The laptop is easily removed from the mount. If you are concerned about theft, yes, I would remove it. It does not lock into place at all. Not by theft deterrent locks, anyway. The laptop does get secured from falling or moving around while in the mount, but no theft deterrent.

Answer:	Just look for the stand with the 9” connecting arm and order it like that. It’ll cost more that way but I recommend it for using it without, it gets really wobbly.

Answer:	I installed this in three 2020 chevy Silverado pick ups. Had to make an extra bracket for each one to mount between seat and console to work for our application. Question:	Are their holes on the back for a python cable
Answer:	I have two that are permanently mounted and two that are portable cameras. The two that are permanently mounted have much better color ability. I don't put the two portable ones outside most of the time. As the previous reply said, I live at an elevation above 7000 ft. Because the snow will build up on the lens. I have those two inside most of the time. But I really like the fact that I can move those two around anywhere I want them. I was surprised by the fact when I put one of the portable ones in my garage one night, that I could see a little mouse scratching at the door trying to get into the house. LOL I didn't expect it to pick up because there was no light. The portable ones don't/aren't able to focus well when inside and pointed outside thru a window screen or window reflector film. I've left one window on the East and South clear so that I can move a camera there when there is noise I want to check out. Also, if you need to adjust then easily put them down lower and under a overhang. One friend mounted hers so high up on her house that it is a problem for her to have to adjust them. Mine can be easily reached from a 4 ft. ladder. These would make great baby monitors and/or if one is care giving an older adult. Also, work great for keeping an eye on puppies or small children outside. Our whole family (and friends)got some after I got mine.

I have attempted to get the Bushnell impulse functioning in the field twice, once on initial rollout earlier this year and again two weeks ago. I won't expand on the multiple issues but the product will not function as designed. In short it was and is still not ready for market. I have bought seven units, Verizon and AT&T formats and returned them all after spending over 4 networking w/ tech support.
