Answer:	With the sun shade, it's 10.25" long.. I always use the sun shade, due to lighting conditions where I shoot..

Answer:	Im really picky, and while this scope offered EVERYTHING I needed, they dont go into detail of exact reticle sizes... the reticle to me is WAY too large. At 50 yards the 'cross' area is like .5" wide at 9x. AT 50! so at 600 thats half the width of a face. TiborasaurusRex (youtube) goes over the effective range of the .223"/5.56mm regardless of scope.
Question:	Do I need a risor mount for this scope on my AR- 15 M&P model
Answer:	I put a 1" Monstrum riser rail on my S&W M&P 15 Sport 2. The biggest problem was to get the proper eye relief for the scope, I had to mount the scope all the way to the rear of the top rail. That works but it makes pulling the charge handle a pretty tight maneuver.
Question:	There have been complaints of a misaligned reticle, has anyone experienced or heard of this
Answer:	Mine is slightly off, perhaps 2-3 degrees. some have complained about that will cause elevation or windage adjustments to change too. Yes, that is correct to a point. Let's stay that worse case scenario, the turrets and reticle were canted 45 degrees off from each other. That would mean any elevation or windage would equally effect both. But for every 1 degree, that would only result in 1/45 of a change in the other. that equates to .02" for every inch of elevation/windage. So if the scope has 1/2" per click adjustment at 100 yards, One click of windage/elevation would result in (unwanted) .01" in elevation/windage movement with a reticle that was canted 1 degree off. Even at 5 degrees, that is still only .05" (1.2mm) at 100 yards. The point is if that small of an offset really matters to anyone, they should not be buying a $90 scope in the first place.

Red/Green Dot Reticle

Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The StrikeFire II red dot incorporates elevation and windage dials with audible clicks. Each small click will move the point-of-impact 1/2 Minute of Angle (MOA). 1/2 MOA will correspond to 1/2 inch at 100 yards, 1/4 inch at 50 yards, 1/8 inch at 25 yards, etc.

Adjust the elevation and windage settings:

1. Remove the dial covers.

2. Use the raised bar on the dial cover, a coin or screw driver to make the adjustments.

3. Turn the adjustment dial in the appropriate direction as indicated by the arrow on the dial. Move the dial in the direction you wish the bullet’s point-of-impact to change.

Mounting the StrikeFire II

To get the best results from your StrikeFire II red dot, proper mounting is essential and, although not difficult, the correct steps must be followed. Your firearm will need to be equipped with a Picatinny or Weaver style rail/base.

To attach the included cantilever ring mount:

1. Attach the lower part of the cantilever ring mount to the rail/base and make sure this is solidly seated in the base groove. To prevent recoil injury, position the ring so that you have at least four inches of eye relief.

2. Be sure the base clamp is hooked around the outside of the rail/base. Press downward and forward toward the muzzle. Then, firmly tighten the base clamp hex nut.

3. Place the StrikeFire II on the lower part of the cantilever ring mount with the adjustment control buttons facing the shooter. Tighten ring cap screws evenly until all are snug—use caution so as not to over-tighten. Once the screws are tightened, the StrikeFire II should not move on the rail/base.

Answer:	I have one in the FDE color on my FDE Diamondback AR with Magpul FDE furniture. The scope color matches the rifle and furniture color perfectly. As far as performance goes, after getting it zeroed and putting another 200+ rounds through it that same day, it was still right on target. The 1-4 (actually more like 1.5-4) magnification is perfect for my needs and the lever to change the magnification is a big plus if you have to zoom on the fly. I opted to mount it using the Green Blob Outdoors Tactical M10 QD-L FDE Scope Mount instead of the canted black mounts that came with the scope. This put the scope at the perfect height for excellent cheek weld and eye relief for me on my Magpul stock. Next time out at the range, I took the scope off to zero the iron sights, put the scope back on and it was still on perfect zero. For a scope that sells for under $100 I would say that you can't go wrong with this Monstrum scope.

Answer:	Yes and yes. They are not the Burris PEPR knock off mount some Monstrum scopes come with, but they are a forward mount decent AR15 mount.

Answer:	You will be able to see the cross hairs just fine, but it does nothing to help you see your target any better (in fact the illumination will make it harder to see your target)

Answer:	No, you don't need to. The battery is accessible on the side, right in the control knob. To change the battery, just unscrew the battery cover, insert new battery +side up, then put the cover back. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Have it mounted on a 45-70. Still in the process of sighting in. It jumps around a little when you change recticles. No magnification so at over 50 yards it is hard to bulls eye. It is about like shooting with iron sights but can get on target very quickly.

Answer:	Works very well. I have it on an 8.5" pistol build and at 10 yards, standing with no support, it holds a 2" group. Standing supported, it held a 1/2 inch group.

Question:	This is a stupid question. But how do i change the battery? The cross hairs are not lighting up
Answer:	Battery life is relative. It depends on if you run illumination and at what brightness. As the other answer said. Replace the battery on your birthday or some holiday and keep a spare battery in your pistol grip or bag. It has an etched reticle anyway. The illumination is for low light or dark targets so you can see the reticle. Not recommended for night fighting at all.

Answer:	You need to get a scope that is meant for your caliber. The reticle on this scope is scaled for a 55 grain 5.56mm round. The BDC will be off for a 7.62x39. if all you care about is the center dot and you know how to BDC by eye then get a red dot and a magnifier.
Question:	What is the warranty
Answer:	What's the purpose on the 30-06? Hunting? Then no, get a true hunting scope. Tactical? A tactical 30-06? Really? Also the BDC in this scope is for a 55 grain 5.56mm round so the only accurate dot in the reticle would be the center dot.

Answer:	The reticle is etched so it is always visible in daylight (except against dark targets). Keep in mind that at 1x the reticle is very fine (thin) because it's a FFP scope. I wouldn't really use this as a CQB optic. It's an LPVO. The 1x is more of a 1.25x honestly. It will work in a pinch (illuminated) as a CQB 1x, but If you want this LPVO but want true CQB 1x, then I'd suggest running an additional 45º offset red dot or RMR with this scope set at 3x-6x for distance. This scope is a tank BTW. Adds just over a pound to the rifle so get a sling LOL.

Question:	Is there an illumination adjustment, if so how many levels of adjustment is there
Answer:	It needs a picatinny/weaver rail to mount on.
Question:	Can this be mounted on a M1911 pistol
Answer:	You should not have a problem. That was the reason bought this item. I also have a scope on my AR and 45 off set works perfect as a back up
Question:	Will this work as a LH 45° back up to a 3x9 scope, or even a main sight for a carbine
Answer:	I put it on my semi auto 12 ga and it worked fine. No adjustment even needed. Accurate at 70 yards. Did loosen up after 2 rounds but re-tightened it and had no further problem. Fired about 20 slug rounds after re-tightening. Good quik reaction red dot sight.
Question:	Would it work on a shotgun
Answer:	The pouch is about 8 inches long. I just checked a butter knife and it was definitely too long to fit.
