Instructions &Attention:

1. Your new Cartridge Laser Bore sighter is designed for the chamber sizes marked on the bore sighter as well as on the packing box. DO NOT attempt to insert this bore sighter into a different size.

2. Chamber: Doing so may cause damage to the bore sighter and the gun chamber.

3. Do not dry-fire your firearm while the boresighter is inserted. Doing so may cause damage to the bore sighter.



BATTERY INSTALLATION:

Twist the end cap of the boresighter counter clockwise to open the battery housing. Insert the three batteries into the battery negative end first. Be sure that the batteries are all facing in the proper direction to ensure proper function of your bore sighter. Turn the end cap clockwise until it is slightly snug. At this point you should visibly see the red laser. To turn the boresighter off simply twist the end cap counter clock wise until you no longer see the red laser. If you plan to store the bore sighter for long time without use, remove the batteries to preserve power.

5. Place in your rifle’s chamber and close the bolt

6. To remove - open the bolt if it does not automatically extract manually remove the unit by tilting the rifle’s barrel upward (always practicing safe firearm practices)

The laser should hve been pre-set at the Factory. If it is out of alignment call customer service to send it back to the factory. The factory has the jigs to re align the laser, and they usally don't charge you.

Question:	I have .223 and 300 blackout rifles. Can this work for both
Answer:	Id you purchased the one for .22 it will fit. .22LR ammunition can be quite dirty. Your weapon, if it hasn't been cleaned recently, may be filled with unburned powder residue or residue from the wax that coats .22 bullets. This would make it very difficult to pull the boresnake through the barrel. Starting at the chamber feed the weighted end of the snake through the barrel and then pull it out the other side. If you cannot get the weight through the chamber then you either have the wrong size OR your weapon is VERY dirty. Try dribbling some bore cleaner - any major brand will do - into the barrel and letting it sit for a time then try again. If that does not help you may have to purchase a traditional cleaning rod sized for .22 and a bronze bore brush of the proper size to clean the "gunk" out.

Answer:	Hoppe's 24004 is designed for the 45 ACP which would work on your HK45. On the subject of the HK30... are you referring to the HK P30? The HK P30 is available in 9mm or 40 S&W. If you have the 9mm version, Hoppe's 24002 is designed for 9mm and the Hoppe's 24003 is for 40 S&W.
