The holster is constructed using only top grade, new materials, and no surplus automotive foams, fillers or liners. The nylon exterior provides resistance to scuffs, abrasions and moisture. Since your Helwan is a version of the direct predecessor of the Beretta 92 the holster should be a good fit. However, having not held a Helwan before, I would compare your gun's size to a model 92 or full size Glock just to be sure.
