Sage 50 2018 and lower versions cannot be installed on the same computer as Sage 50 2020 or later, as the 2020 and later version uses the Actian database engine. This has nothing to do with the versions, but rather the two different types of databases that run Sage 50. However, releases starting with 2019 can be installed alongside the currently supported release (2020 and 2021). If you need to have an older version of Sage 50 (2018.2 and earlier), you will need to have a separate computer to house the older versions, or install Release 2020/2021 onto a separate computer. It is also possible to have a second version of the same release (for example, Sage 50 Pro 2021 and Sage 50 Premium 2021).
