Answer:	There is a youtube video that helps A LOT when putting it together. The instructions that come with it are not to clear on where to put a couple of small pieces, but the video showed it very well

Answer:	You can it has a weaver style mount .I would suggest a reaction red dot instead as the distance you can shoot it really isnt long enough for a scope. I shoot about 15 yards with the sight it comes with and hit the center 99% of the time.
Question:	Could you leave it cocked and loaded for an extended period of time, say, in your car or house as a ready defensive weapon
Answer:	Technically, yes. It is better to use a BB gun instead - it's easier to conceal, it less likely to fire unintentionally, and can be fired repeatedly rather than one-and-done. If you are going to use this as your defensive weapon, it is better to cock it but not load bolt/arrow into it and keep the safety engaged - if it fires then, no harm can really result. Most importantly, check your local laws and regulations.Self-defense note: if your attacker is trying to attack you with a concealed knife, the best thing you can do is wear riveted chain mail (it actually isn't horribly heavy) - if someone wants to stab you, they aren't going to tell you "I'm going to stab you," casually wait for you to get to your car and shoot them. Answer:	You used the word "weapon" so you know it's not a Nerf type toy. As for letting a 12 year old use it, that depends entirely on the 12 year old and your parenting of him/her. If your kid is the type who would shoot the neighbors cat "just to see what it will do" then you shouldn't be giving your kid any kind of weapon at all. If you're the type of parent who would look the other way when the neighbor's cat got a crossbow bolt shot through it then you shouldn't be considering anything but Nerf guns. This weapon is about in a class with Wrist Rocket slingshots, which are also not toys. I do not consider BB guns toys if they have enough power to shoot out an eye. If you would trust your kid to safely handle a .22 rifle, a Wrist Rocket slingshot or a powerful pneumatic pellet rifle then you should be able to trust the kid to handle this correctly also. If not then don't give your kid this or any of those other weapons either.As crossbows go, this is a very tame one but that doesn't mean it's safe to use unwisely or by a careless person. A real hunting crossbow has a lot more force than this pistol type bow does. Users of "real" crossbows might call this a toy but it's not. I hunt with a serious crossbow and I would never consider something that does what this "little brother" does to be a toy. It's a weapon, it's just a light weapon but a weapon none-the-less. This little crossbow can kill or inflict grievous bodily injury. Question:	Hi, can I use a longer arrow with a broad head attached so the broad head stays in front of the crossbow rail when cocked? Thanks
Answer:	I think so but I'm guessing you might be disappointed. Bolts are just under 1/4" diameter and just over 6" long. I doubt a standard diameter arrow would fit under the clip at the fletch end. With that said I still like it and it seems pretty well made.
Question:	how accurate is it
Answer:	It is very accurate. Mine was shooting a bit to the left of where it was pointed, and I found that the bow was off center relative to the stock by about 1/8 of an inch. I corrected this (so the bow stuck out the same distance on each side), and then it shot perfectly in line with where it was pointed. I set it up in a vise to eliminate any user instability, and I found that it put numerous arrows in virtually the same hole (~3/4" pattern) at 10 yards. AT 20 yards it is still accurate, but it drops an inch or two compared to the drop at 10 yards. It shoots 100 yards or more, but the effective range is about 20 - 30 yards. All in all, it is a very impressive tool and weapon at the price.

Answer:	It really depends on the user, if you leave out in the sun then the weather can get to it . don't leave it in the cocked position. I do feel there is really a time limit. My cross bow still works just fine.

Answer:	The arrows have a pretty sharp point. I don’t really see how you can put a broad head on it but I’m sure you could rig something up. Mine only came with 3 bolts but I ordered 60 for like $10

Answer:	I wouldn't bother to use those on this little crossbow.First off all,i did put extra limb on my and it has 1150 pages of penetration(yellow page). while with 1 limb it could go through 550-600 pages.And even with 2 limbs its still not enough power to shoot more than 10 -15 yards because of the small the size.At the same time with 2 limbs you can use broadheads,easy.I am not a hunter because i am against of any forms of killings the living been i don't support what hunters do.If you are practicing targets shooting like me,then i'll advise you not to buy those lighted nocks the reason i explained earlier.Good luck!

Answer:	After shooting various models, this xbow seems has the same fiberglass limb as the 80lb bows. It is only the metal limbs that are 50lb. IMHO, The PSE SS is the best pistol xbow out there; I own three different ones. Frame is composite.

Answer:	There are other bolts on Ebay or Amazon that can fit this crossbow. The ones that come with it are basically a one time use. They break easly. Get the solid plastic ones.
Question:	Does it come with string and is it hard to string
Answer:	It comes with a string and a "stringer" that works well. 1) Put the stringer on the inside notches, 2) put bowstring on one outside notch, fed through "stringer loops, 3) cock stringer with cocking handle, 4) install second side of bowstring, 5) make sure string loops are in place in place then pull trigger, 6) remove bow stringer. It is easy, but follow instructions. Worst case, it is not such a heavy bow that one cannot bend by hand and have someone else put bowstring in place.

Question:	Can you put a scope on it
Answer:	While I do not know (it's a Christmas present that I haven't gotten yet :-), someone else has typed that you can. I do know that they sell a version with a scope.
Question:	Will this bow take down a bear or an elk
Answer:	If it chokes on it. This is not a hunting crossbow. Maybe rabbits or squirrels are acceptable game. You could definitely go balloon hunting with it.
Question:	Can you hunt deer with this
Answer:	No. I highly doubt this world take down a deer. No matter how close or where the arrow was shot/ bolt. Small game yes.

Answer:	I have to stick a tip of a bolt in the area of the safety and push it up a little to unlock the safety. I do see a design issue in this.
