The pole is fairly stiff (rated Medium/Heavy), and is set up a little different than other poles that I have. It actually has three sections. The tip is removable. The middle section slides into the handle, and friction locks into place when slid out for deployment (35" long for storage). The handle is quite long, and the reel sits 13" from the butt of the handle as opposed to about 10" on my other UglyStik poles. I had to add a lure keeper loop near the handle. It didn't fit quite right in the rod cases that I had, so I changed to another pole that fits my case.

Answer:	The assembly is no different than buying any other rod and reel, the reel affixes to the rod and is clamped down by the pressure screw on the lower handle. You extend the rod by pulling each section out, being careful to keep the guides in line. The easiest way to add line to the spool is to run line down the guides, tie it to the spool and reel it onto the reel until full. Remember to apply some tension to the line to get it packed tightly on the spool. It doesn’t need to be a lot of tension, but enough so it wraps tightly.
Question:	is the rod flexible? and how many rings does the rod have
Answer:	Not as flexible as reg. Pole. But not bad. I purchased one size longer then normal rod to match the flex on my reg. Rod.

Answer:	I have one and I'm pretty sure it's 20lb test. Judging from examining it right now by feel and appearance. And the labeling/tag that was in the packaging if memory serves accurately. Diameter vs lb. is confusing as a certain brand braid is notable for having break limit 3 times of that quoted. 10lb is really 30lb and again memory I have one with 30lb really.50lb..and absolute 0 strech. Kevlar line. Tough stuff. I would expect the line wouldn't be good for trout but great for bass pike and catfish. Wish I were allowed to mention the brand it's my favorite but I think it's against Amazon rules. Catch em all!!

Question:	can you use it for pier fishing
Answer:	Your hooks aren't going to tear it to shreds if you are careful. They work well with only one hook rigs, like jigs or carolina or texas rig. I do not recommend wrapping it over crank baits with multiple treble hooks. The nylon is tough and if a lure with multiple treble hooks get tangled in, you will probably rip it yourself trying to untangle it out of frustration. They work well with keeping rods from getting line/eye tangled!

Answer:	Certainly there is no problem picking up a 3 lb fish from the pier. Basesd on the salmon I have caught on the rig I would advise being able to net any fish over 6 - 8 pounds.

Answer:	They fit all casting rods (up to 7 foot) and most spinning rods. Does not take up any more space then the rods themselves, unlike the older plastic tube type. No more tangled rods!

Answer:	I don't actually know. I do know however that they were flexible enough to go over all my rods easily. A couple of of my Roddy were spinning rods with the large line guides and they went over them easy.

Answer:	Yes. it can protect the whole rod and protect from exposure and scratching. The product is pretty overall good. It serves the purpose in which I purchased the sleeve for. I would recommend this product.

Answer:	Athough I have never fished for channel catfish I have fished for large saltwater fish for years. The heaviest Cherrywood casting rod is 10-20lb class. You want a heavier rod for catfish. Try catfish specific rod? I have a 7ft Ugly Stik catfish rod, I use it for saltwater. I use my Cherrywood for bass and inshore saltwater.

Question:	I will be traveling to Hawaii on March of this year, what kind of rod would you recommend for salt water
Answer:	Well, I would have a lot of follow up questions for you. I guess the only way I could answer this question is to sum up what I bought it for. I wanted a rod that I could pack in my suit case. Fits perfectly; case is 25in long. I wanted a spinning rod that i would be able to fight and land fish up to about 10 lbs. I took it to Florida and caught some nice fish. It works great. I bought 2 because I have 2 kids. Pair them with a nice spinning reel. They won't come apart, medium action. Casts light tackle well. I used a saltwater popping cork and cast shrimp. I feel confident and would/will continue to use them. I will take them on every trip in the future. For me....worth the money.

Question:	What does - "sections: 2 / handle: 3“ mean? Is this rod in 3 pieces including the handle
Answer:	I used a bit of light lubrication at the joints. Very sparing! This seems to eliminate the need for much force but does not interfere with it staying assembled when desired. I have several collapsible rods for the kayak and this is my go to method. Any light oil seems to work. My dad used to rub his two-piece rods on the side of his nose to lubricate them. It doesn't take much lubrication to aid release. Hope this helps.
Question:	Would I have any issues using a revo4 x-w low profile baitcaster on the 5’ rod
Answer:	The original test of line is 6 or 8 lb. It comes on the reel from manufacture. I personally prefer 2 or 4 lb test line because this is ultra super light tackle. So you can hold more line.

Answer:	You risk damaging the rod. Rod blanks have a spine that would be "upside down" if you put a baitcasting reel on a spinning rod.
Question:	Could I use them for surf rods that are two piece
Answer:	When rods are purchased directly from us and not FBA, we ship the rods in hard fiber shipping tubes with 1/4" thick walls. We also pad out the rods on the inside and secure them to eliminate rubbing and sliding. Rods purchased through FBA are typically shipped in a long cardboard box. Question:	Will this work on micro guides
Answer:	We would recommend a 500 or 1000 sized reel. You can certainly go with a larger reel, but then it gets pretty butt heavy. The 1000 seems to be about perfect on this rod.
