Answer:	It seem to be made of polyester or some similar material. It’s rough. I got it to keep me warm outside around the camp fire but it’s not useful really . Instead I have it draped over my banister for a show. It is nice to look at as an accent piece only.

They are flame and sunlight resistant, and they withstand weathering better that regular wool.

Answer:	I washed it in cold water and tumbled dry on low and it came out great. It is a tightly woven lightweight tablecloth that looks like a Mexican falsa - it’s not actually a thick woven blanket that you would use for yoga or keeping warm. Therefore, it doesn’t pill or shed like those blankets are sometimes prone to do and it’s easy to launder like regular household linens.

Answer:	Yes, I washed mine in cold water and tumbled dry on low and it looks great. I opened the machine after it had been agitating a little while to make sure it was color safe and there was no bleeding of dye into the water. Because this is more of a thin, tightly woven fabric tablecloth than a true Mexican falsa, it does not pill or shed the way other blankets do so you can wish it with other items, too.
